Kaliaco's Hallritt Headcanon List
(This could be a little long because this is the compilation of 2 years' worth of hcs... Yada... )
Kitty officially adopted Hallritt and raised him as her own son.
Hallritt is the prince of the kingdom; everyone in the kingdom knows it except him.
Hallritt sometimes says "Kitty-mama" instead of "Kitty-sama," especially while he was getting used to knightly etiquette.
Legally, Hallritt's family consists only of Kitty, but in practice, it extends to almost the entire market.
^ He used to call everyone Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle, Aunt, Brother, or Sister when he was a child. He feels a bit embarrassed when reminded of it, but they wear it like a badge of honor or an inside joke.
^ If anyone wants to woo Hallritt, they will have to get the approval of the entire family.
Kitty taught him how to play the piano.
When Hallritt was born, he measured barely two apples, but he quickly grew to twelve apples in his first 12 months; He should currently measure about twenty-eight apples... (That would make him the tallest member of the White family.)
His height definitely includes his heels. Kaliaco will die on this hill. (Have you ever seen videos of cosplayers in insanely high heels and the comparison when they take them off?)
Hallritt and Kitty would always dress to match. (From this point on, Kaliaco started drawing Hallritt with cat ears in his hair)
Hallritt used to believe that chocolate was poisonous to him.
Hallritt doesn't like stepping on the cracks in the sidewalk.
Hallritt used to be a really... curious boy.(... And he constantly got into trouble for it. )
☆Ex: He got stuck on a roof until he was brought down. He almost poisoned himself by eating a tulip. He cut his bangs. He tore off part of a curtain while trying to swing. Etc etc
Hallritt is afraid of the dark (even as an adult), and as a child, he used to leave the lamp on all night or sleep with Kitty.
Hallritt was DEFINITIVELY homeschooled.
Hallritt likes "experimenting" with cooking! (Which leads to really extravagant combinations.)
Probably between 19 and early 20
If he weren't in the world of Fragaria, he would be British (unfortunately).
He adopted a pair of cats that he named Shimizu and Yamaguchi.
Whenever Kitty left the kingdom, little Hallritt would send her letters every day, and when she returned, he was always waiting by the gate.
^ From this arose Hallritt's custom of writing letters whenever they were apart.
Hallritt was forbidden from leaving the kingdom until RED BOUQUET began (he never knew why).
Hallritt is stronger than the average non-Fragaria knight and a fast learner; yet he seems unaware of this, or at least of the full extent of it.
Every time he goes out on patrol, he returns with desserts and all sorts of food—items he keeps receiving regardless of what he says; following the events of "RED BOUQUET," he ends up sharing whatever he can't finish on his own with Sanah and Rimicha.
As a toddler, Hallritt fell ill easily, but as he grew older, he developed a strong immune system— though it weakens significantly under stress.
He is very used to having his head patted—adorable when he was a child, but embarrassing when it happened in front of his fellow knights.
Hallritt avoids crying at all costs—not to appear strong, but to keep from ruining his makeup.
Hallritt is so used to wearing heels that when he wears flat shoes, he walks on tiptoe (without realizing it).
He is like a medieval boy when it comes to using technological devices with touchscreens.
Ironically, he's good at hook games.
Hallritt is trained in swordsmanship but prefers to use his flag in combat.
Hallritt has some... anger issues. He does his best so that no one notices.
Hallritt has a terrible sense of fashion, though he has improved thanks to Merold and Sanah (though not enough to avoid fashion disasters).
When Hallritt was just learning to speak, he would meow, and it became a verbal tic for most of his childhood.
He tends to stomp his left foot when he is excited or happy, and his right foot when he is annoyed or frustrated.
Hallritt has good reflexes (canon) and is sensitive to sound.
His favorite fruits are apples and strawberries.
Worse than his sense of fashion, Hallritt's sense of direction is even worse (*He has topographical disorientation).
He likes wearing hats and bows. So, most of his outfits feature at least one of those elements—or better yet, both.
He needs to sleep while hugging something; otherwise, he won't sleep well. He usually hugs a stuffed animal or a pillow, but anything—or anyone—can work.
Hallritt and Tuxam met when they were younger... But it seems they didn't get along very well?
Hallritt has a playroom in the castle, though he now uses it to display his Kitty collection. (He hasn't set foot in there since she disappeared.)
Hallritt loves reading fairy tales; Kitty used to read them to his before bedtime.
Hallritt cannot lie to save his life, because he starts to stutter, sweat profusely, and fidget with his fingers while avoiding eye contact.
He buried a "time capsule" in the garden and forgot about it.
Hallritt used to write his name as Haru when he was just learning to write.
Hallritt is a bit slow to catch on to jokes or puns.
