IT IS FAINT but there, at the edge of her conscious mind, a presence â like light under the edge of a door from a lantern in a room opposite â that looms near. When she turns, she cannot see anyone or anything, though, and Yuyuko wonders if perhaps it is her turn to be haunted after so long an existence.
Finally, though, when she finishes another twirl, she spots her: a girl, small and curious-looking. Still, looking at her, Yuyuko feels as if sheâs a bit hazy around the edges, like looking through liquid in a glass at an object beyond. There must be a better way to describe it, but it feels as if she takes her eyes off this girl, stops focusing on her, sheâll disappear into nothing.
<<My⊠I donât believe Iâve ever met a satori before, much less one with an eye that is closed like yours. You couldnât perhaps be⊠from Gensokyo?>>
Not at all thinking about where she goes and what she does gives her a lot of strange looks... not like thatâs going to stop her. There are some times where the strange looks considerably lessen, but Koishi doesnât keep track. In general, she doesnât keep track of her surroundings.
Thus, it took her a while to realize that a stranger was talking to her. Someone who managed to figure out both Koishiâs species and home world, no less! Curiously, she looked at the stranger more closely.
â Ooh, full points! Yup, Iâm from Gensokyo. I canât say I remember seeing you around before! â
