Kirbtober Day 9: Dream (Friend)

Dreamy Gear 2 test read chapter 2 is out and while it's early still, I think he's basically perfect.

Like, I really enjoy how he does his con in kind of the opposite way that Magolor does. Magolor is all "Boo hoo hoo! If ONLY there was some brave, cool, heroic fellows willing to help poor little old helpless me!" while Marx is all "Oh, don't worry! I love going down dangerous chimneys and working hard every day just to make everyone happy! Food? Oh, I couldn't...! Well, only if you insist! Where do I sleep? Just outside in the wilderness! Don't worry, I'm used to being alone, it's not even that bad!" :angel smile angel smile:

They passed each other on the street this chapter and IMMEDIATELY recognized each other as incredibly powerful fellow magic-users at a glance and then immediately turned away without saying a word.

I'm afraid this book...is going to be good.
