happy pride month to bisexuals who have a preference, who don’t have a preference, who are discovering their preferences. happy pride to bisexuals who have been silenced, erased, who have been told that their sexuality is non-inclusive or requires a preference. happy pride to bisexuals who are constantly questioned and attacked over their sexuality, who are told they are “confused” or “questioning.”
bisexuality is such a beautiful, expansive sexuality that has been a crux of the LGBTQ+ community. “We are angered by those who refuse to accept our existence; our issues; our contributions; our alliances; our voice. It is time for the bisexual voice to be heard.”
I’ve been grinding references left and right, so here are a few I’ve finished over the weekend!
THE FANKIDDOS.
Character Description:
As the one and only heir of King Dedede, she was already born with a loooot of expectations on her shoulders.
However, they don't seem to bother her as much!
Maybe it's the confidence she's got as a protector of Dreamland due to the fact that her dad's a walking tank, BUUUT THAT'S beside the point! She's got quite the heart of gold at her age (definitely not twelve years old), but be warned--this does lead to her being a little too eager to keep everyone happy, much to some people's concerns...
She's also got a stomach of steel--just like her father--a hearty laugh that seems to light up any room she's in, and maybe even a bit of emotional maturity (it takes a lot for that side of her to show...) but be warned--if anyone wants to try to take over her home, she won't hesitate to give them a good poundin' with her mallet!

Infamously dubbed the "Son of Chaos", Riyot's existence was purely based on a wish.
But c'mooon, at least Magolor and Marx are raising him well! ...That's not really reassuring, but at least they're trying, OK!? That explains the weird amount of joy Riyot has almost all the time. ...Unless if they're hangry.
As far as everyone in Riyot's life is concerned, the townsfolk have been trying their hardest to show the kid that there is a better way to have fun that isn't BLOWING STUFF UP!! Oh, by the way, did I mention that Riyot's got a mix of both their dads' powers? And they've got no way to control them? AND that they aren't aware of just how much danger they could put people in should they use them wrong?
...yeah, we're fucked.
Don't worry! The only thing holding them back is the facination they have for Popstar! I-It's not because people are actually NICE to him, or that...they have a bit of a crush on the Princess of Dreamland...or...uh...heheh.
I've been through the wringer more than once this year.
Ever since the beginning of February, I have been suffering through friend problems, gf problems, and also family problems that has thrown my mom into grief. For the sake of privacy, I'm not going to go into detail.
It's been...a very overwhelming experience for me to go through, especially when my grades have begun to dwindle in school, and my self-esteem took a whole nosedive.
As much as I've started to hate my 'friends' for willingly ghosting someone, it irks me more that my gf's been hanging with the people who have changed over the years and weren't the same as they were when I first met them. That didn't stop me from (temporarily) cutting them all off.
And even though we've made up, it's still hard to talk to them. I'm even afraid of introducing anyone I know outside the group to them, because what if they end up ghosting that friend too?
It didn't help that it felt like my mom had been taking her stress that came with grieving out on me.
Not only that, being in the house, by yourself, constantly and constantly without having almost anyone around to talk to you as much makes you wanna stay away from them.
And that's been happening to me. I don't know how to stop it. As much as I wanna cry to my mom, to tell her how much I miss her, and how much I want her to feel better...it's hard.
Everything's been hard.
I've wanted to give up and just rot in my bedroom more than once.
I was lucky that I have enough self-awareness to realize I was drifting back to how I was last year; last year I developed suicidal thoughts after losing someone close to me (and also constantly beating myself up).
I wasn't willing to fall back to that. I've recently talked with my parents, and now I'm getting therapy.
Even though I'm only a few sessions in, it's still a little hard to get through my current situations, but I know I'll persevere and live to see tomorrow.
And honestly? Posting my art and being on this site has been an escape. Every moment I've loved interacting with you all has been nothing more than pleasant, funny, and so much more.
However, Magolor and the Forgotten Land has...felt more like a hinderance to my art skill.
So, MaTFL is going on a long hiatus until I regain the energy to actually continue. If you only followed me because of my comic, that's great! Just...please stick around if you wanna see more peak.
That doesn't mean I'm not posting at all anymore, don't get me wrong. I'm just not posting the comic until I get my life together.
