This took some time (no i just procrastinated)

Introducing my drifter and operator (bc I plan to make more content with them yippiee)

Sum of my headcanons (well canon for my au, ofc some things aren’t followed/vague bc idk how to fill the gaps from canon drifter/operator lore)

-Drifter is physically 23-24, operator is 13

-They were born a short while after the Duviri storybook was released, hence being named after a Duviri character, Luscinia (drifter absolutely hates this)

-Because of the naming issue, Drifter goes by Anya Lohk, while the operator goes by Sinia Lohk

-They have an older brother, Sigmund (yes bc i picked the option where they have an older brother in the KIM chats)

-Despite her looks, drifter is a very crude person in texts

-Drifter’s kaithe is named Emi Rei (mostly only goes back to Duviri to ride her kaithe for several hours before actually getting the decrees)

-Operator doesn’t know where incarnon adapters (or the materials needed to install one) come from, Drifter just drops a bag full of them in the orbiter and leaves for days

-Despite having full access to the operator’s warframe arsenal, drifter prefers running Equinox (operator is baffled as to how she’s able to maim nuke on missions)

-Operator was able to visit the mall once, and decided it was too stinky for comfort so she never visited again

-They both have wavy/curly hair from birth—drifter after new war had very wild unruly hair (operator forced hair care on them and she finally looks decent for once), however, operator decided to keep her hair short and straightened bc she can’t be bothered to keep up with curly hair routine

Can we talk about the infantilization of Amir??? Why am I seeing people on twitter (which, fair enough, it’s twitter) acting surprised that Amir is smart. Are we… Are we looking at the same character?????? The technician of the hex, the man that interned at a nuclear reactor??? You think he’s an idiot?

He’s a hacker, Jesus he sells all the weapons parts from the Hex. That speaks numbers on his character already. Arthur trusted him to hack the reactor when it started going critical.

Yeah, some of his chats are about his nightmares and trauma surrounding everything, but that doesn’t make him some little baby that needs to be protected at all costs. Coddling does nothing to help that. Half of his fucking insecurities are feeling too out of place among them and treated differently because of his past/not being a soldier.

His adhd/autism isn’t something that weakens him and makes him stupid. He is a grown ass man, with multiple horny voice lines, a collar kink and witty remarks left and right.

STOP BABYING HIM. Before I convince myself that youve never even played the game with how you butcher his character.

Brotha that tank was so stressful—I’ve been attempting that little shit for days now.

I had to put so much shield gating shit on Amir just to survive. And then I finally beat the boss at like 1 am ish something, and I was on autopilot. My hands were so sweaty and shaky I thought I was going to fumble my last attempt—thank God I didn’t bc I think I would’ve gone insane thinking about it while in class later.

Shoutout to my in game friend who told me that they knew the next time they logged on, I’d have the glyph (bc I think you manifested it for me homie holy fk).

Might start doodling Amir and my drifter soon since I now have the accolade glyph off my mind.
