I think I figured something out! Joe's insta bio still says he's in AVP, but Jason's doesn't. Instead, it mentions Whiskey Water. So I went to their website. On it, it says Joe: Songwriter, Jason: Songwriter, and it mentions their manager. It says they're a songwriting duo. So they may be done making music (which would suck), but they're still writing for sure.

Yeah I’ve seen that, I’m just confused about why they wouldn’t I guess wrap things up? Like, if they aren’t making their own music anymore that sucks whatever, but why not just let everyone know. I mean they posted about signing to Warner as a songwriting team but why not just say “Hey guys, it’s been a time but we’re trying something new now” Idk I’m happy for them if they’re happy I just don’t get why they can’t say somethingggg

okay but like, avp put out 4 full length albums, 2 eps, a rerelease of an album w extra songs, not to mention tons of cover songs and a handful of non album singles all since 2011 when it was just Joe and Jason left, they worked so fucking hard and they still were/are so unappreciated and unrecognized by anyone in the scene like wtf is that???

okay i do have a theory about Remember This. the bridge of that song is the direct wording from a Brand New song ((someone posted the comparison in the artist vs poet tag a few days ago)) and my guess is they never got the rights to do that? so they got in hella trouble and now it's down. that's just my guess.

Does anyone know what the deal with Dylan is? I know he's not in the band anymore (or at least I'm assuming), but I think he's still on good terms with Joe and Jason. Jason posted a picture of Dylan and Joe on instagram a week ago (the pic was from a while ago) and both Dylan and Joe commented positively??? i love this stupid band so much and i'm just very????

ugh i have absolutely no idea what’s up with any of them tbh. i saw that too and it seems like they’re all still good which makes me wonder even more why they didn’t say anything when he left bc like? why not, if there’s no bad blood who cares? everything about avp is shady and i love them but come on guys
