I haven't seen how I met your mother, but I've seen that scene where Robin thinks Ted is proposing and she FREAKS out and then he gets mad because he wasn't going to propose but he thinks he's earned a softer reaction than that. And, em, no. Nope. She thought you had crossed a FIRM BOUNDARY. So going "no no no don't do this to me"? That seems fair to me idk. Like she thought he had completely disregarded her wants, thoughts and beliefs, I think she was 100% fair in her reaction to what she thought (BECAUSE IT REALLY LOOKED LIKE IT) was a public proposal by a man who should know she absolutely DOESNT want to get married.
