Dan and Phil fake dating AU except the fake dating is the hardlaunch.

They announce they're together only for PR reasons, fully believing it won't change anything .

And it doesn't. They're just...sometimes going on dates together. But listen, LISTEN only for the press pictures and to have some stories to tell on the podcast.

They start being touchy with each other on camera...and maybe at home but just to practice and get comfortable, not because it means anything. No, no. Everything for the bit.

And the kissing? Well, it's maybe not for the camera but it's important they know what it'll feel like. It means absolutely nothing, the tingly feelings that come with it? They're just good kissers, that doesn't mean it's real.

Dan's just a big fan of method acting.
