to let teeth graze the pumping beat of your neck. to let his fingers drag down the rungs. to hold it in fondness than bloodlust.
it was a clear defiance of sukuna’s nature.
he could rip your throat out in a heartbeat if he wanted. tear you apart with his fangs. indulge you in the same carnage he doused empires in.
yet, he handled you like the finest china.
watching you bare your jugular without demand. it challenged his very existence. every village he slaughtered, and every lineage he’d ended.
it was the fact you were letting him decide whether you lived or died at every loving embrace. and it enthralled him.
the moonlight spilled across the wooden veranda, casting the long monstrous shadow of sukuna's four-armed silhouette onto the sliding doors behind.
waves of fog enveloped pruned rose bushes, seeping through tall hedges as you both watched in a seated embrace.
his arms had you imprisoned in love shackles. his large stature caved around you, keeping you warm from the midnight breeze.
he was in the midst of ravishing your neck, nearing the familiar tang of metal when he muttered into your skin.
"wife," he repositioned you between his lap. "stop moving."
your hands slid up to one of his forearms trying to stabilise his rough essence. "ryomen, my robe is silk. you are holding me in such a way i cannot ground myself."
sukuna's arms jerked in the blinding heat, making your efforts to plant your feet useless.
irritated, he growled. his raging lips chased the sweet musk of your neck at your effort to fight the frictionless surface.
"woman. stop moving. my teeth'll catch." he rasped to your ear, a tone with bluffed intimidation.
you also grew irritated at how you couldn't fight the handling of his arms, making you writhe between his seated legs.
the air from your sighing lips was visible in the cold. "hold me softer and i will stay until the stars appear. hold me roughly, and i will head straight to the chambers, leaving you to the lonely moon's gaze."
despite your instruction for soft-handling, you spoke in a tone that fell powerless to the ravenous storm in his mind.
his four arms tightened stubbornly around your frame, forcing a huff out of you. there was no established spectrum of 'soft-handling' for your husband. after all, he only knew strength.
he continued the attack on your already contused neck, dwelling above your pulse for a second longer. his touch was becoming hungrier. you let out a small whine from the sharp sensation of his teeth.
the soft squeal seeped into the breeze and the dark heat inside him only grew with every fastened beat of your pulse.
sukuna's taste buds knew no better syrup than the mixture of saliva and your skin, the hints of metal getting him more drunk than the average commoner at a brewery.
hand-picked court chefs had prepared him all sorts of desserts. reeling puddings from the west, sugar-cane from the south, the thickest honey cultivated from the estate's gardens. none of it had stimulated him.
he only knew to salivate at the sight of your tilted jaw, exposed to the predatory nature of his mouth. and when he'd latch on and taste the well-earned copper... it was a victory within itself.
eventually, he reached said climax, his tongue creating pressure on the bruised area to not waste a single drop of his prized nectar. he had sucked so much blood to your skin's surface, you could practically feel a second heartbeat on the swell.
your head reeled back into the faint heave of his chest, your mewl untethering him. the arms around your body loosened slightly, making your skin feel iced from the loss of contact.
for a brief second, your clear demands to be held again was a muffle. the line between pure destruction and innocent love blurred within his mind. decades of only knowing and giving pain had created a reluctant muscle memory to devour whatever mortal dared to stay in proximity. and the mocking tang of blood in his mouth only acted as a catalyst to these thoughts.
"ryomen!"
his ravening mind honed back to reality.
"i said hold me." you re-draped the silk robes across your exposed collarbones.
he paused for a moment, mind still thrown off equilibrium.
it was only when your soft fingertips poked at his limp arms did he take control of his thoughts.
the lines in his mind sharpened, making his answer clear as day.
and so, with his answer made, two arms snaked around your waist, stacking as if dressing you in an entirely new robe of heat. the other forearm lay resting on your chest, thick enough to cover any skin that was victim to the chilly air.
the final arm lay on your leg, his dense fingers trailing plush to the inner pulse of your thigh's artery. like a moth to a flame, his touch rested.
the faint emergence of stars above stared back at him as he dwelled.
there was with no doubt within his mind that you were the only being capable of moulding him to a such a sappy sentimental man.
not a king, nor a god. a man at your touch.
and the thought did not inherently bother him.
instead, it spread a foreign joy to his rotten heart.
how he enjoyed the warm sensation of your pulses, whether it be under his lips or his fingers, the sensation of you breathing...
simply being alive rather than another cold body at his feet.
your husband, hiromi, had quite a prominent yet adorable snaggle tooth. by his canine to be specific.
you’d notice it when his lips were parted in concentration. the slight outline visible through the bump on his upper lip.
yet, when he noticed you staring, it was enough to make his mouth purse. licking his lips for momentum to assume a different resting position, one where it wasn’t visible.
a once vanity-void husband reduced to a mumbling mess over a simple snag tooth.
the vibration from his chest interrupted the soft tv mumble. “sweetheart.”
you mumble an inattentive sigh expecting he would peel your head from his chest for another bathroom break.
yet, his torso remained still beneath you. the solemn pumping of his chest picking up beneath your cheek.
“may i ask you something?”
“mm.”
from how brittle his tone was, he honestly should’ve been rubbing circles on his own body in self-soothe, instead of the crescent of your hips.
the first few syllables came out choked.
“would— you think it was stupid if i looked into getting adult braces? or invisalign. or whatever they do now.”
the heaviness under your eyes dissipated, buzzing you awake.
“what?”
“yeah i know. it’s stupid for a man my age to care about a snaggle tooth. but it’s just… —agh— … i guess it’s always bothered me. i hated it when i was twenty and i think i still hate it now.”
your head reeled from his chest just far enough to meet his eyes.
“it just makes me feel messy. when i look at our photos together i look awful darling.” he sugarcoated his vulnerability in a weak chuckle.
your eyebrows furrowed, locked onto his face in disbelief that he’d just confessed his most adorable feature was his biggest insecurity.
“oh… hiromi.”
your hands reached for the curves of his jaw.
“you mean don’t like your tooth?” your thumb brushes over the bump on his lip in a soft giggle. “this cute little guy?”
his head dropped back on the couch cushions. wide-eyes falling soft to your comforting expression.
“not really darling… i hate seeing people look at it the second i smile too wide.” his heart tightened at his own words. these words alone didn’t give enough credit to how much his snaggle tooth had affected him was really affecting him.
you got closer to his face in assurance. “listen to me.”
“that snaggle tooth of yours is my favourite feature about you. it’s the joy of your smile, romi. like when you get that real stupid laugh, it shows up. and it’s what i look for. everytime. it’s easy to tell when you’re faking a laugh for our friends,” he finally began to mirror your smile. “because if you were really laughing… i’d see that cute little tooth of yours.”
his arm tightened around your waist pulling you flush against his body.
and there it was again.
“are you sure you’re not just saying that?” his lips curled just enough to reveal his signature perched canine.
“i mean it, my love.”
before he could overthink your statement, you placed a soft lingering kiss to the corner of his mouth. then, to his bottom lip. and again. and again. everytime you slotted your rosy lips to his, you could feel them forcing down a smile. but that’s exactly what you were scheming for.
you began to work a triangle. the corner of his mouth. his bottom lip. the other corner. top lip, sparing a few extra. then repeating.
higuruma’s eyes closed in bliss. a vibrating him emitting from his reeled throat.
you held a longer deliberate kiss on his bottom lip, staying rigid enough to not initiate, but passionate enough to make his lips curl.
and it appeared again.
only this time you took your chance to really show him what you meant.
you dotted a peck onto his snaggle tooth. well, your bottom lip. it was pretty high up.
higuruma’s breath caught momentarily making his eyes flutter open in surprise. “what was that?” yet there was no opposition in his tone.
you smiled against his mouth, kissing the tooth one more time for good measure.
“just making sure you know exactly how much i love it,”
and for the rest of the evening, he smiled giddily at anything you said, even if it wasn’t funny or remotely humorous. a childish hope you’d lunge back in and pepper him with more.
a/n: based off of a features hc i posted on tiktok! @/linscurse
(a short drabble i done on my phone while watching england v mexico so i can’t add the divider rn but super proud so wanted to post!)
alright, i'll be the one to say it. ao3 and tumblr becoming "mainstream" did so much damage to the community and the writers. i have seen loads of videos and posts about:
1. people hating on writers and fics. writing is something we do for free and for fun. if you stumble upon a fanfic that isn't necessarily your cup of tea or you just don't like, scroll. dont read it. literally leave their page. you don't know if this could be the author's first work that they're so excited about, you dont know if the language they're writing in isn't their first language, you dont know that the writer could be a literal teen and loads of other reasons. fanfictions don't HAVE to be perfect. you write what you want to write because we do it for fun and enjoyment and we want to share that to the world. seriously, what is the wrong with that?..
2. x reader consumers getting WAY too entitled. the number of tiktoks i've seen that say "i run a strict program when it comes to reading fanfics." girl you aint running shit. this is FAN FICTION you're reading. F A N F I C T I O N. there is no denying that most fanfiction writes are beyond talented but just because you read one fanfic that exceeds your expectations doesn't give you the right to talk down on others that don't. people have their own personal writing style, their way of doing things and you talking shit on that isn't right.
at the end of the day, we are all humans, reading and writing is what we do and what we're meant to do. and for you to talk shit about a person WRITING is so insane. we are humans. not some robots that you can tell what to do so you can consume it.
i've seen so so many authors take down their fanfics and losing all motivation to write because of a hate comment. DONT LIKE DONT READ‼️
and to every author reading this, this community values your work and your contribution. we love u and, please, never let anyone's negative words have an effect on you.
₊˚ ⋅ ۶ৎ what if satoru and suguru took care of tsumiki and megumi?
masterlist
this is an AU! ages and others like the fate of characters will not be canon compliant.
satoru never yearned for children like the others in his pristine clan. infact, he found them annoying— useless even. irritating wailing, pointless tantrums, unnecessary insults… he could go on and on, really.
so why was he so utterly endeared with the two tiny lives he’d allowed into his usually so shut off life? at two and three, megumi and tsumiki were treated like royalty. sure, maybe he’d taken on too much for an overworked seventeen year old boy, but with suguru and shoko there to lighten the load, it felt so much easier. suguru and shoko had watched their usually cocky, arrogant little shit of a best friend fall into a paternal role like a key fitting a lock.
money didn’t seem to bother him, either. clan inheritance had him set for the next 5 generations, so to geto’s and ieiri’s dismay, dropping ¥150,000 on a winter coat for megumi was no-problemo. and tsumiki didn’t go without, either. any toys she asked for would be by her bedside the day, and that’s not to mention her massive wardrobe! shoko had stared at it in horror the first time, not looking past the fact that it was 5x the size of her own.
and to think satoru had laughed at other parents just months ago! what a dumb decision!’ he’d laugh to (mostly) himself. he even doubted his own progenitors— why would you have children in such a world?
but now he saw why.
————-
megumi currently has his butt planted on the kitchen chair, hot tears forcing their way down his chubby face. his usually pale complexion is blotchy with red, proof of his prolonged sobbing. his tiny fists reach up to scrub at his eyes, and he seems to have wailed his throat raw. his cries hitch, jumping in pitch in small bursts. you’d think the sky was collapsing upon the earth.
‘ ‘gumi, it’s okay… is jus’ a scraped knee! dada’s gonna patch you up reaaaal good!’ tsumiki chirps, sat cross legged with gojo next to suguru; who’s dabbing at the boy’s knee with calculated gentleness. she can’t seem to keep herself still at the sight of her brother in pain, so she rocks back and forth in satoru’s lap.
satoru reaches forth to smush her cheeks carefully. ‘megumi, look. doesn’t ‘miki look funny?’
tsumiki’s laughs come out garbled and nasally at the squeezing of her cheeks, and the noise makes megumi reconsider his approach to the situation. his glassy eyes soften monumentally, and before anyone knows it, he’s giggling again. he points a fat finger at tsumiki, laughing at her like she’s the funniest thing ever.
satoru grins at the blissful sound, letting go of tsumiki to scooch over to his boyfriend. ‘thanks for patching him up, ‘guru.’
‘why wouldn’t i? i see him as a son too, ‘toru. you’re not alone in that.’ he hums, putting a paw patrol plaster on megumi’s fatal knee scrape. with a soft pat to let him know he’s all done, megumi hops down and babbles something silly and incomprehensible to tsumiki before dragging her to the direction of the playroom.
‘ooooh, we’re all alone.~’ satoru teases, seizing suguru’s small waist. suguru shudders slightly, swivelling to tut disapprovingly at the other behind him.
‘not while the kids are awake, you horndog.’
‘oh, c’mon! i was joking.’
‘sure you were.’
satoru sticks his tongue out at him, and suguru yanks at the muscle in retaliation. gojo snaps his tongue back into his mouth instantly, staring at the offending man like he’d just told him he’d killed his parents and entire village.
——
megumi had sleeping problems, the two knew that much. they’d asked shoko about it, but she’d said it was normal for kids his age. satoru was worried, though.
‘i grew up sleeping fine! why’s he struggling so bad?..’ he grumbles, bouncing an uninterested baby megumi on his knee, holding the toddler’s pudgy hips in support.
suguru looks at his partner’s worried face, leaning forwards to plant a kiss on his rosy cheek. ‘you grew up being pampered to no end. you had everything easy— including sleep. it’s normal. apparently i gave my mother an awful time.’
megumi’s small face scrunches up in the epitome of concentration, and his hands clench in on themselves. satoru lifts him like he’s the baby lion from that one movie, turning him to face suguru.
‘… does he need potty?” satoru whispers, horrified.
‘no, megumi’s a smart kid. he’d vocalise it. he always does.’
‘what’s up with him, then??’
and suddenly, out of nowhere…
YIP! YIP!
infront of megumi’s teensy little body, two disgustingly cute puppies are bounding around. one of fresh winter snow, and the other a black coat of night. suguru and satoru gaze at eachother in shock, but megumi’s too occupied rolling out of satoru’s lap to bury his ecstatic face in the black one’s fur.
attention-seeking yaps burst out of the white one, and it drags it’s textured tongue along megumi’s fluffed hair. the baby’s hands fist a little too roughly, and geto takes his hand into his own ever so delicately.
‘gentle hands, megumi. the puppy doesn’t like mean hands, okay?’ he coos.
megumi’s bottom lip juts out in silent protest, but after a firm, fixed expression from suguru, he complies and unhands the puppy. it doesn’t seem all too bothered- instead barking loudly and jumping ontop of it’s darker counterpart. they’re like the sun and the moon, perfect reflections of eachother.
suguru still looks bewildered, so he raps on satoru’s shoulder. ‘why do you look so calm about this? is this a natural occurance??”
satoru huffs out a soft bark of laughter, shaking his head as he stares at the baby in awe. ‘no. it’s his cursed technique manifesting. ten shadows. it’s passed down within the zenin clan, yada yada..’
suguru’s face melts into one of recognition, and he nods slowly. ‘okay. i see.’
the white puppy lowers itself to the floor, curling into a ball of pure fluff. megumi also drops himself to the floor, cuddling up next to it. suguru reaches a hand out, about to intervene- you don’t get all cuddly and lovey-dovey with a half asleep dog- but when the animal seems to accept and encourage the toddler’s embrace, he retracts his extended hand. the black one whines; clearly upset about being left out. it scurries over to megumi’s feet, plopping itself down ontop of him.
but they couldn’t just sleep on the floor! suguru scoops the three tiny bodies into his large arms, trying not to jostle them all too much. once he’s confident they’re flat out, he turns to satoru, jerking his head towards the boy’s bedroom. ‘c’mon. bedtime. for him and us.’
satoru heaves himself upwards, matching suguru’s slow gait. he watches his boyfriend place his son and the two newfound family pets into the crib, and he can’t help the smile that plays with his mouth. it was so innocent, so sweet. megumi’s head was lolled against the tummy of the white dog, who had it’s front paws in the air like it was living a life of infinite bliss. the black one sat at megumi’s legs, head rested on the baby’s knees.
hello hi and thank you for reading!! a bunch of my viewers on tiktok kept saying “wouldn’t satoru be able to know what suguru did before he opened the door because of his six eyes?” and to that i say that this is not canon compliant! in this satoru’s six eyes just dont have the capability to see allat, so he basically got nerfed for the sake of this.. also, this is an old fic, so no judgement..
Sunday
Suguru:
“goodnight satoru ily”
Satoru:
“ily too man 🙂↕️🙂↕️ sleep well my bro”
Monday
Satoru:
“why u not at school??”
Satoru:
“helloooo”
Tuesday
Satoru:
“man where r u??”
Satoru:
“basketball tomorrow? :P”
Wednesday
Satoru:
“i’ll be waiting in the court after class”
Satoru:
“this is me waiting”
Satoru:
“suguruuuuuuu”
Satoru stares at the screen, toying with the hinges of his flip-phone. A pout adorned his usually relaxed face, soft white bangs cascading down his forehead. He’s brought to attention instantly when he notices a presence approaching.
“What’re you doing in here alone?” Shoko’s drawled-out words penetrate the silence, bringing two fingers up to her mouth to remove the cigarette resting upon her lips.
Satoru- perched on the bench in the corner of the court- groans dramatically, cheek resting on the basketball he was holding. “Thought Suguru might’ve come and played. We usually do on Wednesdays. Apparently not.”
He really wondered what Suguru’s problem was. Not only was he ignoring his texts, but he wasn’t coming to class! He hadn’t even come out of his dorm for food. Thinking of it, had he lost weight recently?..
“He could be busy,” She counters.
Satoru barks out a humourless laugh, eyeing Shoko. “What, for three days straight?”
Shoko shrugs, making the decision to leave Gojo to wallow in his annoyance. She wasn’t putting up with an irritable Satoru, no way.
Hearing the sound of her boots clack away, Satoru sighs loudly and bashes his head against the ball cupped in his hands in frustration.
After a little while of “brooding”, he decides to go investigate. He hops up and flings the ball somewhere into the corner of the room. He’d go retrieve Suguru from his room, and then drag him out to play! Perfect.
Upon entering the dorm blocks, Satoru inserts the key into his own door, poking his head inside just enough to yank the spare key Suguru’d given him off of the counter. He closes his door, locking it behind him. Satoru begins to stroll towards Suguru’s door, yet his confident stride wavers at the smell that suddenly infiltrates his nostrils. It seeps out from the gap in Suguru’s door, crawling up into the air. It’s a foul stench. Sweat, rot, tinged with a hint of metal. How had Satoru- or anyone in the dorm block- not noticed that odour? Satoru gags theatrically, taking a moment before finally sticking the key inside the lock.
“Wow, Suguru..” He grumbles to himself. “So much for hygiene.. your dorm smells like an anime convention..”
Finally turning the handle, Satoru steps inside, bending down to remove his shoes. “Yoo, Sugu—“
He shouldn’t have looked up. He felt like his eyes trailed upwards in slow motion. Suguru’s limp feet. His bare legs. His dangling arms. His usually sharp and pretty face which Satoru loved so much, was now discoloured and lifeless, narrow eyes horribly unfocused. His whole body is flaccid. Satoru’s loud words are lost on his tongue, throat closing up like he’s swallowed superglue. In that moment, in that room, Satoru’s world narrows down to a singular, terrifying focal point. He feels like his chest is being crushed by some inexplicable pressure, and he’s suddenly all too aware of the cold sweat that materialised on his face.
Suguru. His best friend. His brother in all but blood, a lover—
He shakes the dreadful thoughts from his mind for a moment, and his body is moving before his brain receives the signals. He bolts up on shaky legs, and he’s instantly at Suguru’s side, slender fingers fumbling with the knot at Suguru’s neck.
“SUGURU! Hey, hey man— what the fuck?!”
He growls in frustration when he can’t get his short nails under it to loosen it, whipping around to run to the kitchen. He snatches a sharp kitchen knife from Suguru’s knife block, taking note of the smaller one being missing. He noticed the little things. Always the little things. So why not this? He’s back at Suguru’s side in no time, reaching up to saw at the rope. As he forces his arms to cooperate, forwards and backwards, thoughts race through his overwhelmed mind. ‘Where’d he get the rope from?’, ‘Why?’, ‘Why didn’t I notice?’, ‘Why didn’t he ask for help?’. The last threads of frayed rope finally give way, and Suguru’s lifeless body collapses down. Satoru catches him before he can hit the ground.
Satoru immediately drops to his knees with his best friend’s body, extending his pointer and middle finger to feel up Suguru’s neck for a pulse.
There’s nothing.
Of course there’s nothing.
Why would there be? It’s been three days, hadn’t it? Three days Suguru’d been rotting. Three days Satoru hadn’t noticed. Three days Satoru hadn’t checked on him. What kind of a friend was he?
Despite knowing it won’t change a thing, Satoru slaps Suguru’s cheek. To stir him. To elicit a reaction, anything. The soft, warm skin now freezing to the touch. Satoru didn’t even realise he was crying until he notices his tears splattering onto Suguru’s thin, dirty and off-white shirt. He desperately continues to feel for a pulse, hoping, praying, for some kind of miracle. He just wanted one thing. He’d do anything, he just.. wanted his best friend. His Suguru.
He leans down to press a lingering kiss to Suguru’s now ice-cold forehead. Registering the unnatural temperature only serves to make his stream of tears come hotter and faster. He never cried, what the hell was this? His sharp, bright blue irises dart across Suguru’s limp body. Seeing him like this, in a tank top and boxers, he can take in everything. He thought he had Suguru’s body planned out already from hours of ogling him in their intimacy or in the shower blocks. But no. He notices more now. His vision is heavily blurred, but he notices. A mole on his right knee, a birthmark on his left index finger. And then he catches it.
Long, red lines littered on his thighs. Some of them deep and angry. Some like cat scratches. Some even white and risen, healed. Satoru feels his stomach drop to his ass, guilt crawling along his insides like an invasive parasite. How didn’t he notice? They were so obvious. So many of them. He didn’t think Suguru was suffering so much. Did he really feel the need to hurt himself..? No, no way, right?
He’d tell Satoru. He’d confide in him.
..Or would he?
He wasn’t the best listener. He’d butt in where his opinion wasn’t needed, probably laugh at problems he found “minor”. Suguru probably feared talking to him.
Satoru cradles his lifeless body tighter against his chest, mumbling sincere apologies into the now matted black locks. They used to be so soft. So silky, so shiny. He hadn’t been taking care of himself. Hadn’t even eaten right, from the looks of things. Satoru should’ve questioned him more. Should’ve noticed. Should’ve.. been there for him.
He feels bile lurch up his throat, sour- leaving an awful aftertaste in his mouth. His stomach twists and churns horrifically with remorse.
‘What was his breaking point?’, Satoru wonders. The thought makes him feel unwell. Was it his ideologies eating away at him? Toji? Riko? Or perhaps just a buildup of everything over years?
He looks up to the ceiling, blinking away more tears. Another sob begins to rise up his throat.
₊˚ ⋅ ۶ৎ ‘dangerous’, they’d called him. ‘coldhearted”.
not to Satoru. not his suguru, never. he was beautiful. caring. loving. loving in the way he acknowledged satoru’s presence even after all those years. loving in the way he fostered his two girls like they were his everything. loving in the way he was thrusting into satoru’s achy body.
“ngh— suguru! slow it down, you fucking—“
a rough hand matts in his usually perfect head of hair. it yanks him upwards, like a misbehaving dog.
“slow it down?” he grits. “you’re the one who asked for this, aren’t you? so you’ll take it. i didn’t wait three months for you to pussy out.”
right. three months. they often had to sneak in small meetups in times they weren’t on anyone’s radar- y’know- due to the fact satoru was meant to be finding and killing suguru. it was miserable, going without eachother for so long was so, so miserable.
“i’m not — pussying out — but y—- ah, fuck!” god, he was so much. so heavy, so thick. satoru swore suguru was gonna split him open.
“aren’t you adorable? i’ve got the strongest speared on my cock. aren’t you supposed to be assassinating me? you’re terribly pathetic, ‘toru.” he continues to grasp satoru’s waist, red hand marks blooming.
his insults and degrading remarks just flow out like running water. like it’s natural. like they’ve done this before. which they have, but that’s not relevant right now. with every word, satoru finds his face heating up. he chomps down on his lip, and yet a soft whimper finds itself escaping anyway.
stillness. suguru stops thrusting, buried to the hilt in his boyfriend.
“are you getting off on me insulting you??” suguru gapes, eyes widened.
satoru smirks, challenging. “maybe. what’re you gonna do about it?”
“you’re in no way to test me right now, you whore.”
“ngh~” it’s purely theatrical now, made to spur a reaction (and erection) in suguru. “yeah, just like that daddy.” he laughs.
“ew, don’t call me that.”
they’d be here all night. and maybe, for once, that was fine. maybe they should make the most of the little time they know they have left.
