Emma & Kiros {Elephant Graveyard}
Kiros frowned then as he didn’t want to give up his manly act despite the help he could probably use, being his ankle was beginning to paralyze him. “Uh wait….” He muttered then reluctantly. “Maybe you could just give me a hand and help me up?” He then questioned a little sheepishly.
Emma quirked a brow, surprised he’d finally been able to ask for the help he so obviously needed. Without another word she took several steps towards him before looping her arm with his. “Ready?” she asked not long before she helped to heave him upright. But he still seemed too wobbly to let go of so she hung tight to his arm just to be safe.
"Uh yeah.." Kiros said skeptical and unsure that Emma would be able to help him up let alone hold him. Once she did though he was pleasantly surprised and let go of most of his pressure on her, though he held a hand on her shoulder to form his balance. "UH thanks..." He said shifting his eyes "You're pretty strong you know for a girl." He said then thinking how he would hate to tell anyone about this.
Freya and Kiros | Strange Stranger
Kiros smirked and nodded his head at her mimicking him, already starting on the verge of becoming annoyed and irritated at the little princess. “I don’t know….I’m a man not a boy…” He said as a matter of factly. “Are you gonna keep following me? You got a crush or something?” Kiros grinned then still walking by her side thinking this way to the other part of the castle was awfully long. “I think I’m a little too old for you..”
"Oh, I do hope I haven’t given the wrong impression!” Freya’s voice was growing sarcastic in its level of sugary sweetness. “I wouldn’t want to have a bad reputation with such illustrious visitors!” She’d decided to give up the act and see how quickly he would realize that she was making a mockery of the innocent girls who talked like that. It seemed he didn’t care much about that kind of girl, surprising, since most men did.
Illustrious…..whatever that means, Kiros thought to himself with a slight roll of his dark eyes. “I would say you’re a little close to making a wrong impression.” He then replied with a toothy green as he peered down at the girl from the side. “So…whats something fun to do around here?” Kiros then shrugged, figuring he would change the subject for the time being.
"Well, if you think that," Freya’s voice suddenly changed, turning serious and normal, "then clearly I’m making just the impression I want." She smiled slyly up at him. "It works on most men…” she said, almost accusatory.
"Hmm, depends what you’re interested in." She said, scrunching up her lips as she thought. "I like books, but I don’t know if that’s quite your area.." she looked him up and down. He was more muscular than any of the men around here, and most of them loved hunting and sword fighting. "There’s plenty of outdoor pursuits, it that’s what you’re interested in. Archery, hunting, sword fighting, jousting, I could even teach you some falconry. Or give you a tour of the grounds." She looked up at him again, looking for a response.
Kiros stared and gave Freya a sort of straight faced look, like he didn't understand her antics, or why she would want to work something on men. "I don't really care for flirting games that much I guess." He shrugged then.
He listened to the first things she mentioned and crinkled his nose a bit along with a frown, since those types of things he typically found horrible boring, mostly because he had no idea how to read for the most part. But the second activities she mentioned certainly caught his attention, and Kiros' eyes lightened with childlike excitement and curiosity. "I'll take you up on that offer Princess." He smirked then with a strong nod, "The second thing you said of course."
Fergus & Kiros | | I need all the friends I can get
"What do I look like Carrot top?" Kiros hissed with a roll of his ebony eyes. "Pfft circle of life…I’ve heard that one before…." He mused then more to himself, having always been a rather greedy hunter he never liked to waste a good catch and just let it run off. "I dont need weapons just my own two hands…." Kiros then state proudly as he cracked both of his knuckles.
Fergus tilted his head quizzically, frowning at the man, though he was beginning to think he was less man than beast. “What do you do, snap their necks? How do you even catch a deer anyway? They run faster and more silently than any creatures in the forest.”
"Not me I'm faster and stronger..." Kiros shrugged "Does that answer your question?" He asked then with a raise of a dark eyebrow as he leaned against a sturdy damp tree trunk. "So whats your deal? Are you a hunter or something? And by hunter I mean a bad one..." Kiros stated rudely as he glanced down at Fergus' attire and weapon at his side.

"Yes Mama!" Kiros said with such enthusiasm. He trotted a half moon around his mother, before he spotted a tiny little field mouse. "Watch this.." He said in almost a cocky voiced tone as he quietly lurked for sometime before pouncing right for the small creature, in the brush.
Kiros almost had the mouse before his hands hit the rock platform the creature was resting on, causing his game to just get away.
Kiara chuckled as she watched her son pounce towards a small field mouse. Despite the fact that the tiny creature got away, she smiled and praised him. “Well done, Kiros. That was a good try. Maybe your father can help you later today. Now, let’s go to the watering hole.” She headed for the stone steps that led down to the plains. “Come along, Kiros.”
"Okay mama.." Kiros complained slightly as he scampered off to follow his mother down to the watering hole. Once he arrived he swatted at the water with his pretend paw (hand) and began to drink from it, with tiny licks.
Cecilia & Kiros {Brute V.S. Beauty}
"If you don’t mind me asking…." Kiros paused then as he glanced at Cecilia’s family members and then at Cecilia herself. "Why would you wanna do that? I mean I could be some bad guy for all you know…" He pointed out tilting his head to the side at her in question.
Cecilia was slightly taken aback by that. She thought for a moment before answering with a smile, “I don’t believe you are. I’m a pretty good judge of character, and I just don’t see you being a bad guy.”
"Well I'm not complaining.." Kiros gave a grin then as he was satisfied enough with her answer, though in the back of his thick headed mind he thought she could be wrong. "I'm not really into this diplomacy stuff anyway...I hardly ever know whats really going on so hanging out with you sounds way more fun." He nodded.
Cecilia & Kiros {Brute V.S. Beauty}
Kiros nodded as he finished the first portions. Once he polished off once again a second plate he couldn’t help but let out a belch, pounding his chest with his fist as he leaned back in his seat. Kiros sighed satisfied as he closed his eyes, a smile on his face obviously in a happy mood being his stomach felt plenty full.
He opened his eyes then leaning back in his seat as he folded his hands to rest above his head. Kiros then looked over at Cecilia “Sorry about that…you should know I’m not really the best dinner guest.” He chuckled “With the best table manners either….”
When Kiros burped, there was a variety of reactions: Melina glared at Krios, Julian hid a laugh, Kuzco smiled approvingly before getting hit by Melina and putting on a feigned glare, and Cecilia stared at him with a mix of disgust and amusement. “I can see that.” She said. “Well, at least we know you like it!” She laughed. “So what do you say we hang out? Do some talking or something?” She smiled her best and brightest smile. She knew her mother wouldn’t want to stay in their presence much longer, and she was done eating anyway.
"If you don’t mind me asking…." Kiros paused then as he glanced at Cecilia’s family members and then at Cecilia herself. "Why would you wanna do that? I mean I could be some bad guy for all you know…" He pointed out tilting his head to the side at her in question.

"Okay Mama!" Kiros replied innocently. On both his hands and feet he did a galloping sort of motion and jogged his way out of the cave and into the intense heat and humidity of the sahara.
"Can we go down the watering hole today? PLEASE PLEASE!?" Kiros then asked his mother as he looked at her from over his shoulder. He clenched his teeth in a sort of pleading smile as he batted his eye lashes, and made a small pout ready to beg if she refused to let him go.
Kiara gave her son the same face her father used to give her, a famous look that seemed to run in the family. “I don’t know, have your pouncing lessons been going well?”
Fergus & Kiros | | I need all the friends I can get
"There really is nothing to eat around here…" Kiros grumbled as he trudged on through the misty forest of a foreign kingdom and country. He was basically avoiding a certain princess who seemed to annoy him, as well as other obligations as a means to not miss out on a good hunt. Except the weather was abnormally cold to him and damp something he really wasn’t used to. In fact the whole grogginess of it all caused Kiros to even shiver as he jogged through, hoping to spot some great game, except he couldn’t see much in the fog.
So much wetness was left over from the rain it even caused Kiros’ shirt to stick to his skin and appear almost see through, despite its thin fabric though outlining his muscles more and more as he trudged through. he tried not to breathe so heavy and be as stealthy as possible as soon as he caught the outline of a deer grazing through the trees not so far from himself. Kiros began to mimic a large African cat almost bending so he was on all fours as he tried to blaze the trail as quietly as he could.
Within moments an arrow just passed his right cheek and stuck right into a tree trunk just behind him. Kiros stared at the thing with dark wide eyes that soon turned into a glare as he stood up straight, trying to look for whoever tried to shoot at him, as he was ready to put up a fight.
Fergus was on horseback, dressed warmly for the early morning mist. His quiver hung from the horse’s saddle, an easier place for Fergus to take arrows from when ready to shoot. His bow was held in his hand, ready when he saw what he was looking for. Rabbits. This time of year was almost a bore. There were very few animals in season for hunting, but rabbits were the one thing that were plentiful pretty much all year round. He should know, he pretty much managed the animals on the castle’s estate himself.
He was walking his horse slowly through one of his regular trails when he saw something about 10 feet ahead. It looked like an animal, down low like that, but Fergus couldn’t figure out what it was. He already had his bow strung and ready at the unknown creature, when he realized it was wearing clothes. Was it a person? Then he saw a movement even further up ahead. A deer. The creature or human or whatever seemed to be hunting it.
That set off Fergus’ temper, and he pulled back the arrow and released, allowing it to hit the tree trunk just behind the man, just trying to get his attention. “Are you a complete and utter fool?” He said, loudly enough to scare the deer away. “It’s Spring. The deer are breeding right now. Our deer count is low, we need them to give us new fawns before we deplete their numbers again.” Fergus frowned in confusion at the man. “Don’t you even have a weapon?”
Kiros grunted and growled in anger being the hunter that suddenly emerged was breaking his concentration, scaring the deer off, almost shooting him in the head with an arrow, and scolding him on top of it. He glared hard back at Fergus and stood up straight once they met. Kiros glanced at the deer run off and remembered his hunger. “Fool? Look who cant even aim straight and scared off fresh meat.” Kiros snapped back. “I don’t need a weapon to take down a deer unlike you…fire crotch…”
Fergus sat silently through the man’s tirade, about to explode, but then he unexpectedly laughed out loud. “That is the most ridiculous insult I’ve ever heard.” He said through his laughter. “Look, if I wanted to shoot you, you’d be shot. As for scaring off the fresh meat, that was on purpose. Like I said, it’s a closed season. We need them to breed and build up the stock. Live and let live, circle of life, all that stuff. But how on earth were you planning on killing it without a weapon? What are you?”
"What do I look like Carrot top?" Kiros hissed with a roll of his ebony eyes. "Pfft circle of life...I've heard that one before...." He mused then more to himself, having always been a rather greedy hunter he never liked to waste a good catch and just let it run off. "I dont need weapons just my own two hands...." Kiros then state proudly as he cracked both of his knuckles.
Emma & Kiros {Elephant Graveyard}
So its speaks…Kiros thought to himself once the figure finally spoke to him asking if he was all right. “Oh this? This is nothing!” He half lied not wanting to make anyone believe was really hurt at all.
Despite his struggling her concern off she didn’t quite buy his macho act. “Oh, well okay.” She said, deciding that if he didn’t want her help than she wasn’t going to give it.
Kiros frowned then as he didn't want to give up his manly act despite the help he could probably use, being his ankle was beginning to paralyze him. "Uh wait...." He muttered then reluctantly. "Maybe you could just give me a hand and help me up?" He then questioned a little sheepishly.

Kiros followed his mother, mimicking her steps best he could as he got on all fours and walked this way. “How come my coat isn’t as thick as yours Mama?” Kiros questioned with sad dark eyes, as he observed the lionesses tail swish back and forth. “And how come I don’t have a tail?”
Looking back over her shoulder at her son, Kiara sighed slightly. She didn’t know how to tell her tiny cub that he was no truly her son. When he and his brother had been new born’s, Kiara and her mate, Kovu, had come across the two baby’s in a basket. Kiara had been the one to take to the cubs immediately, despite having no knowledge of where they came from.
"You’re coat will grow in, don’t you worry your little head, my darling." She walked out to the end of Pride Rock, and sat down on her haunches. "As for not having a tail, you and your brother just don’t have them. Maybe when you’re older we can ask Rafiki about it."
"Okay Mama!" Kiros replied innocently. On both his hands and feet he did a galloping sort of motion and jogged his way out of the cave and into the intense heat and humidity of the sahara.

Freya and Kiros | Strange Stranger
Freya was hidden in a corner of the entrance hall, a huge book spread across her lap. She was pretty much wrapped up in all the facts and figures of “The History of the Coin in East Asia Before 1200”, at least until she was brought back into the real world with a bang, a literal one, coming from the door. Some idiot had shut it loudly, distracting her from her book. She looked to see what was going on, and saw a group of strangers enter, and strange was certainly the word for them. They were unlike any people she’d ever seen, except in books.
She got up and walked over, seeing that her parents were waiting to greet the group. Freya guessed they were envoys from some other country. This’ll be fun she thought, eyeing them to find a good target. One in particular stood out, a tall guy with dark hair. She tried to catch his eye and get his attention, using her most alluring smile.
Kiros was irritable at the moment for the most part, being he didn’t take much of a liking to cold weather or political matters beyond his comprehension like this. However he was useful for numbers and for defense if anything like a brawl were to happen, being European royals didn’t always seem to take African tribal peoples so seriously.
This time however the tribe was also escorted with the King of the pride lands..full grown lions…something Kiros himself also served as a bridge too being he was of both beast and man, able to communicate even in lion tongue. By his side stood a full grown male lion named Feza…a distant cousin of his able to come onto the journey. Kiros was pretty sure this was a trade agreement as he stood there still and almost cold looking as he observed the leaders with a stern stare. He could feel Feza’s powerful breathe and slight purr at his upper leg, as the lion brushed against his human cousin as well.
Just then Kiros noticed a petite red headed girl making eye contact with him in the background of the cold castle. She was smiling something Kiros thought was a little strange and suspicious, so he simply stared back at the girl raising a dark brow at her in question, sort of figuring she was fascinated with the golden haired lion just below him, being he was aware such creatures like Feza were not usually found in these lands.
Freya had to stop herself from rolling her eyes. The idiot wasn’t responding how she planned. But as she looked further, she suddenly realized there were animals in the room. Not only animals, but lions. She almost jumped from the shock of it, but managed to keep her composure. What kind of people brought wild animals with them to Britain, and into a castle no less?
Her parents asked the group to follow them into the great hall, where the rest of the courtiers were already waiting to meet the visitors, so Freya skipped quickly over to the man she’d picked out and walked alongside him, trying not to flinch at the presence of the lion. “Do lions like sailing?” She asked sweetly, as if she was truly befuddled by the lions ability to get across water.
Kiros began to follow the rest of his group once he noticed they were summoned to another part of the castle. He could feel Feza brush against him slightly as the two walked side by side, but he kept his eyes straight that was until he heard a girlish voice talking to him. “Not typically some do some don’t.” He shrugged glancing at Freya as she began to follow him as they walked. “Do girls like sailing?” Kiros half joked as he grinned slightly at Freya from the corner of his eye.
"Not typically. Some do, some don’t." Freya mimicked his response in her sweet as sugar voice. "Do boys like sailing?" She asked, since the question about girls was rather stupid given that anyone, regardless of their gender, could like or dislike the activity of travelling by water.
Kiros smirked and nodded his head at her mimicking him, already starting on the verge of becoming annoyed and irritated at the little princess. "I don't know....I'm a man not a boy..." He said as a matter of factly. "Are you gonna keep following me? You got a crush or something?" Kiros grinned then still walking by her side thinking this way to the other part of the castle was awfully long. "I think I'm a little too old for you.."

"You know you're kind of creeping me out a little bit..." Kiros sort of cringed half from the pain and half from his uneasiness with the shadowy figure that was Emma. "Why don't you come out from that dust cloud...come closer so I can at least see you..." He suggested now as he began to slowly get up on his own feet, gritting his teeth in the process from some of the swelling at his ankle.
