Hi! I'm Pat and I've been doing art online for over ten years or so. I'm usually just drawing stuff I enjoy at the moment, and I tend to revisit favourite fandoms a lot. Sometimes I also draw my and my friends' OCs, though from my experience they don't really do well on Tumblr.

It’s the 'I hate my linework' time of the year so I did what I’ve been doing almost annually for the past three years and drew Pinocchio. This time from a traditional sketch (under the cut) because I usually like my pencil lines more

I gathered up the courage to do something about a concept that’s been floating in my head, and in there only, since like…2020? It’s called HEART/LOCK and it’s, basically, a concept for a fighting game, or rather my excuse to make up a bunch of non-human characters with different kinds of rivalries and reasons to duel each other. And since Tumblr is a hybrid platform between long posts and visual media, I might as well finally put it SOMEWHERE even if it’s still incomplete.

Base idea consists of a couple of loosely connected stories happening within the same world where (almost) every human is tied to a being - called “Companion” - shaped by their own personality, experiences, “inner self” etc. And since Companions are inherently by their nature protectors and fighters (there’s a deeper lore here I swear), some of them often take part in competitions and tournaments to prove themselves - from friendly sparrings in the backyard, to the professional leagues on stadiums.

Anyway, here is a sketched lineup of main characters for the stories 1-5! Just to get the colors and silhouettes in order.

I’ll be slowly working on making a similar one for the rivals and after that side characters. I also plan on making a more detailed profile for each character (and their bonded human if they have one!) once I figure out the format I want to stick with. Although I might use some free will to doodle some more personal stuff about these guys, I really want to introduce them all already ToT

Aw thank you! ^^ Definitely rendering - I love adding form and color. The good part always comes at that point when all the technical stuff like composition and anatomy are already fixed/adjusted and I can finally loosen up and just paint c:

I’m going back to my art roots for a bit to enjoy some DnD PC-turned-OC shenanigans with my friend (because we made two boys kiss by accident, again, and now we’re very not normal about two monster hunting dumbasses in deep debt). Here’s their part of the package deal, Xael 😩💜 He’s actually Roë’s better half now, but I feel both of them deserve matching reference sheets. This and I posted like one artwork with Roëkell here (this one!) and probably nobody remembers this happened.

Hope you guys don’t mind OC posting, I haven’t done any since 2024 and I really miss them all 😭
