Just to put it out there, we know Louis and Eleanor met a few months before they started dating, apparently even before he broke up with Hannah (that’s what I get from what you’ve hinted at being told). But we also know their anniversary was November 17th 2011. Louis was in London that whole week. They could’ve made it official in Princess Park, thus the “we’ve come so far since Princess Park” line is explained and all the songs are about Eleanor
Sure. I am fine with people believing this. I don’t want to convince you. Believe it is about her. However, let me explain it from my point of view. If that is where he and El made it official, and that is what he meant, that is only known by them. Everyone, and I mean everyone, that knows what Princess Park is, knows it is where baby 1D lived and where he lived with Harry. No one associates that place with El. No one. Louis knows this. Louis knows people think Sweet Creature is about him cause of the “two hearts in one home” line, whether it is or not. He is not in the dark. He is as far from clueless as you can get. He is very clever and every line he puts into his songs is thought out and deliberate. He is not a sloppy songwriter. He spent the majority of his time at Princess Park with Harry. El was in school. He and Harry discussed it so much during the time that they lived together that it became a well-known and celebrated fandom thing, even for non-larries. So, why would he do that? Seems like if he was doing denials cause larries were the bane of his existence and so wrong, he wouldn’t name drop the place he lived with Harry, regardless of whether or not that is where he and El “made it official.” He could have said “my room in London” or literally anything else to make that point if it was about her (in songwriting the options are limitless) without throwing larries the most massive bone they’ve ever received. He chose Princess Park for a reason and it doesn’t sit well with me, personally, if it is not about Harry, that he does denials and then backtracks like that in a song (if Larry was never real in any sense). It seems weirdly unfair to El and like larriebaiting. And I cannot imagine him larriebaiting.
