some dragons believe no having horns is a sign of great weakness, and uselessness. whats the point of a dragon without its signature symbol of strength? pajhuab tells suab cas that their horns might come in later, that not every dragon sees their horns grow at the same age. then pajhuab says, even if they never come, she thinks the lack of them is not a sign of weakness, but great tenderness. a dragon with no horns will never harm another dragon

they grow in size. most start with small horns at a toddler-age, and then they'll grow from there. basic dragons usually have bigger horns. horns are more symbolic nowadays than have any real purpose, but in the past dragons with lots of horns usually had more prestige, and were considered naturally stronger. nowadays people know thats not always true, but some will pick fights with those who have larger horns

dragon&dog - seth and brisk are both thrown in the awful lab. they become friends?? they escape but tgo their seperate ways. brisk meets grim. wolf&bird - story of luna trying to become human. at this point grim and brisk are friends. brisk sees seth sometimes, he remains elusive though. seth has known Cardínal for a short period, but Car has told him that brisk is dead. reunion happens. Car helps them fight [[name for the bunny story]] - idk plot yet but it’s about sophie and koya , side characters weep and pajhuab, and the antag is End-er & Yengkong. Sophie asks Seth for help stopping End-er. background happenings: Luna and Car are dating. Nereus/Kai/Brisk... ???Idk.... sun&sky - Palette n Sonata are the main characters. sophie and seth (along with car, luna, grim, etc) end up caught in a really big struggle w the gods, everyone ends up in haven. big ol climatic ending. very symbolic and beautiful. background story: luna and car are married, brisk is engaged subject to a lot of change...

kai and seth i think have the most interesting familial relation of any of the W&B universe ocs simply bcause they are just.. really fucked up.. and even after the whole story is over, they don’t “happily reunite”, they dont “become closer than ever”, etc. they just sort of.. co exist. tied together by a mutual love for their mother and desire to find out what happened to her. i also think deep down they would both want to have family- to BE a family again. but they wouldnt realize thats what theyre feeling, and they’d have so much problems trying to vocalize that if they even tried to

Seth doesn’t open up to Kai. Kai doesn’t open up to Seth. they don’t trust each other. Kai thinks Seth is far removed from what has been going on wrt Abiel and Kala and such. Seth thinks Kai doesnt realize how much he is hurting and grieving , doesn’t realize how much he’s gone through

and the thing is, they’re both right, and they wont realize it until they sit down and TALK everything out. but they dont want to. they’re scared to. they’ve both lost everything before. both of them feel like suddenly having a sibling is a poor reconciliation for that. they both want more. something more fulfilling. and they just.. don’t get it. 

and all they have is each other...

timeline attempt #2

-Kala and Abiel have Seth  -Abiel keeps up the charade, until a year in, it’s made clear that Seth is a basic dragon. Soon after, Kala gets pregnant again -After another year, Kala has Kai. Another year passes. Seth is now 3, Kai is 1. Kai is shown to be a feather dragon.  -Abiel takes Kai away to his estate, Seth and Kala now live alone. -Kala lives with Seth until he’s maybe 7? He doesn’t remember Kai and she doesn’t tell him. Then Seth “disappears”.  -Abiel comes to deliver the bad news. He invites her back to his estate, says Kai misses her (Kai is 5), wants to make a family again -Kala lives with Kai and Abiel for a few years. Kai is very defiant to Abiel’s wishes, Kala tries to tell vaer to just do what Abiel wants so vae won’t get hurt.  -Kala does occassionally tell a fairy tale about a family of three, the story is secretly about her, seth, and kai, but she never comes out and says it. kai pays attention to the details tho, remembers it -Eventually when Kai is.. 10 maybe? Its found out that Kala was conspiring against Abiel; was planning to run away with Kai and was secretly helping out workers who worked for Abiel, helping them smuggle & steal & survive basically -Abiel is furious. Kala “disappears” -Abiel tells Kai that Kala died in an accident. Kai doesn’t completely believe it but also believes by this point that Abiel would kill her if he wanted to, so she definitely COULD be dead, vae doesnt know what to think, is terrified and emotionless -Kai submits to abiels will until 18 maybe? -blah blah you know the rest

grim is 28 & older than cardinal but it never comes up in the story and grim doesnt know how old he is exactly. he knows hes older than car though and teases her about it (which drives her nuts because he’ll never tell her his age so shes like HOW CAN YOU BE SURE!!!!)

Seth protected Punk techno & punk: good friends, in a band together florence & techno: good friends florence & pajhuab: good friends (met in a fencing class)  weep & ixin: ex-friends , haven’t seen each other in a very long time vana, nara, nola: childhood friends soren & nai: friends nai & nereus: friends amos & brisk: briefly involved w each other nai & amos: dated once when they were younger and Nai wasn’t out yet weep & pajhuab: childhood friends maybe (but dont remember it)

Touch sensitive headcanons. . . . .  Brisk: He’s lightly sensitive on his thighs, and his butt. He doesn’t like to be touched by surprise on his back at all, especially around his shoulders. If you touch him there and you aren’t close, he’ll get very angry.  Kai: Lightly sensitive down vaers spine, on vaers chest, and very sensitive around vaers earlobes. Especially to have them blown on. Kai doesn’t like to be touched anywhere by anyone vae doesn’t know. Vae is extremely sensitive to people invading Kai’s space and doesn’t like anyone but Nereus and Brisk to be that close. Vae is very clingy to Brisk and Nereus though. Cardínal: Her jaw is sensitive, and so are her nipples. Holding her jaw means a lot to her, and even though it’s not that sensitive, she finds the touch tender. She’s HYPER against being touched by strangers, to the point of beating people who repeatedly touch her against her will, but she’s very touchy with people she trusts. She loves getting hugs from Seth. Luna: Her inner elbows are super sensitive and no one can know. (Grim totally knows though.)
