I just noticed that only a very small number of people actually like Kit for who he is. Just an observation: all their posts focus on his photos from that Mr Porter interview, where he was clearly forced to put on that fake smile, despite his pain, alongside all those pointless questions they asked him. Then there’s the worst group, who completely ignored all of that and just fixated on that one line that’s obviously fake, trying to polish his partner’s image as if that was the most important thing about the interview. Everyone’s ignoring the heartbreaking truth mentioned right at the beginning: that he lost his mother recently and had just buried her a few days ago.

Yeah, it’s really frustrating and upsetting. I guess you’ve started noticing it too, right?

Most of Kit’s fans like him for only two reasons.

First: They can’t separate him from the fictional characters they adore, and they can’t see him beyond that image.

Second: There are those who like him just because he’s good-looking.

Only a few actually like Kit for who he truly is.

Kit’s mother passed away a week ago. She was diagnosed with a brain tumour in mid-December.

I honestly don’t know what to say. I was completely shocked to hear the news. Kit must be in a huge amount of pain right now, even though he’s trying to seem okay during those awkward interviews he’s being forced to do to maintain his public image, something no one really cares about at the moment, not when a man is going through the worst pain imaginable.

I hope he’s doing alright. I’m incredibly sad for him.
