SS14 Hardware Process

Developing the hardware: sketches first - dimensions exacted - sculpted from clay - cast resin versions - injection mould created from resin pieces - spun with pewter alloy - plated in nickel or brass.

Resin test pieces - full set, original design altered for different applications.

Plastic test pieces with copper plated test piece.

Pewter hardware - copper plated test piece with nickel plated final pieces.
