Leon shed tears for Luis in canon 🥺

In the original they made Leon scream and overact during Luis' death scene that some people found his reaction 'cringe', but with technology now they can do alot with the facial expressions to make his reaction more realistic.

So they added a nice detail that adds more depth to Leon's character in the remake that he had teary eyes the entire scene with Luis, to convey the emotions how Leon felt bad when he misjudged Luis just to see him risk his life to help them, they became friends so quickly but he lost him then and there....it hit Leon hard especially the way Luis impacted Leon to the end, Leon believed in change thanks to Luis.

Note: the teary eyes may not be noticeable with ps4 quality or bad lighting settings, that's why some people thought Leon's reaction was cold or he didn't care compared to the OG, but he clearly cared enough and felt bad to see Luis go as he never really shed tears for anyone before except for Ada.
