My friends and I started up a D&D campaign together recently, and this is my half-elf rogue Shaela! She’s sneaky, intelligent and charismatic. She likes attention and can be a bit of a showoff, living the subtle rogue life can be a bit difficult for her sometimes.

That dress was murder to draw, but it’s my favourite and it was totally worth it.

2017 was sure a year. I managed to get all my characters revealed for Metanoia, and I feel like I drew quite a lot this year in comparison to past years. Not sure if I improved too much throughout the year, but when I look at last year’s art summary these are definitely a step up.

I focused a lot on just getting things done this year, and I think that shows a bit here, especially towards the later half of the year. Since all my characters are revealed now, I’m hoping this next year I’ll feel like I can focus more on quality and making complete pieces rather than just drawing characters in a white void. I have some art planned already, and have quite a bit of designing to do for Metanoia. So 2018 should be a fun experimental year for art!
