New April fools life series! I said with joys

My life series (potentially) hot take is that I fully agree with Martyn’s interpretation of evo being the only smp canon to the series with the big exception of 100 hours hardcore. I love to think of 100hrs as an equivalent to a spin off show that takes place post last life in the same setting but with a smaller cast and rules that function differently from the mainline series but still keeps the same general tone (and was also the blueprint for limited life).

You know how Martyn has said before that if a player doesn’t come back for a season it’s because their characters were too messed up from the previous season and needed more time to recover. I’d like to think this is the opposite situation. Grian and Joel were completely consumed by the red bloodlust by the end of last life to an irregular degree and if they were just thrown into another game they would still be really unstable (and making them wait it out in the void would only make things worse). In order to do something about this the watchers just gave them a little mini series where they were allowed to put people into the torture chamber until they chilled out (note: did not work entirely for Joel which is why he’s still Like That in double life and the beginning of limited life but it helped). Scar is there because they thought it would be funny but he didn’t really need to be at that point so that’s why he disappears for a majority of it in universe. Also none of the characters who appear in it remember it except for Grian, Joel and debatably Scar.

I’d also like to think that when LimL started and Grian and Joel became a proper day 1 alliance some of the watchers got really excited about it because “omg reference”

Like last time I did not include Real Life numbers and I'm also not including any deaths or kills of/caused by the zombie players.
