It held his genuine feelings- in truth, something the neither of them could deny no matter how hard they tried. Even though the two of them had come from two entirely differing factions of which were at war with one another. The both of them would different in so many ways that one could name off the top of their head, but alas, that didn’t stop them from developing the feelings that they had. The heart was a very difficult thing to try an maintain after all, however, if treated right everything could become blissful.
Laying across a field of lush green grass, Kaden mindlessly played with the fur found at the tip of his tail, features holding that of a playfully shy smile with cheeks dusted in light hues of pink and red. He had sent his letter out to the wolfskin- even taking the time to make sure the other knew just how much he missed him. Hopefully the letter would make it’s way to the Nohr kingdom in one piece, because he was desperate at this point. How embarrassing.
Slowly rolling over onto his stomach, the kitsune reached out toward a lone flower. He was thinking, always wondering, how Keaton would view his letter and that of it’s contents every time they wrote together. Kaden had always been a fairly emotional person when it came to these type of things, yet, the only thing that snapped him out of his thoughts was another kitsune presenting him with a letter.
The kitsune carefully took the letter from the other with a smile. He could already smell it, the way that Keaton had returned the favor of rubbing his scent across the letter that he was being presented. This was more than enough for him to open the letter, making him slowly read over the words he was given. He could feel his heart racing.
The was no time wasted in writing back, “Meet me at the border. Between Hoshido and Nohr, nearby the stream.” Words scrawled across the paper, Kaden made sure every word had a feeling, so that way the wolfskin would be able to tell just how much the kitsune missed him after their long period away from each other. Taking an envelope that he already had at his side, because nowadays he never traveled without it, Kaden returned the affectionate rub to his letter, pressing the tip of his nose against the paper- Eagerly, placing the letter into the envelope as delicately as possible, the kitsune then handed the envelope over to the still lingering kitsune for delivery.
Heart feeling as if it would burst from outside of his chest, he threw himself back onto the grass once more with a soft sigh.
