I'm currently thugging out being dizzy and having a tummy ache, this probably doesn't make sense 💔
🃏 1: Are they based off an author, a book character, or do they not follow the theme?
Author! well kinda... she's based off me as I am a writer and I actually plan on publishing things in the future :3 (we share a name as well)
🃏 2: What details do they draw from their aspirations?
She shares the same mindset, morality(?), mannerisms, and many of my traits both behaviorally, mentally, and physically as me (she's basically the glorified version of myself in a way www)
🃏 3: What's their ability, if they have one?
"One-hundred Tales," or "Hyaku Monogatari," which draws from her life growing up as a partial yokai and living around them
One-hundred Tales is a multi-faceted ability with a sort of scaling system
It's an ability that actually gets passed down through her family through a ritual pact creation done through Otenko
♥️ 1: What can their ability do, if they have one? What are its parameters? (For example, is it always active? Are there drawbacks?)
-Grants her the supernatural ability to summon and wield her kitsune familiar, Tenko. Her ability varies greatly in different forms of use
•Physical summon of her familiar
•The use of her body as the catalyst of Otenko's power
•If enough seals are broken, she gains access to several different aspects of her abilities attributes, such as
Permeation(20+ seals; allows her the ability to make herself go through solid objects just as Otenko does)
Weightlessness(30+ seals, she can partially fly/make herself float like a spirit, but she isn't too good at it)
The Fox's Eyes of Black(50+ seals; allows her to read people at the highest level and decipher behaviors to decode a person's true nature, or can be used at it's most limited form at 0, allowing her to just be able to read body language and mannerisms since she can't read people at ALL)
•Each seal takes roughly a minute to break if unmotivated, but she can break them in 30 seconds each if stressed, excited, or enraged due to her adrenaline
•Her 100th seal has never been broken due to the lack of urgency to break it, seeing she's never faced an enemy who required that amount of strength.
• She can break them in advance to a fight, but 1: it's slower since she's not as excited, and 2: it takes a heavy toll on her body to break a lot of them since she's still physically human
Her ability is not always active, and nor is Otenko himself the ability, he's merely the one being used through the ability.
(Miyoko can't do any of the things listed if her ability is nullified, but Otenko is still able to roam freely nearby unbothered by it because he himself is not the ability)
The drawback is found in the pact itself. It removes her soul (which removes her morality, most emotion, and basically her humanity) and replaces it with Otenko, essentially turning her into a kitsune with a human body. While she can relearn how to act human again as long as she's within human company, that means she's easily in a influenced if she's put into a bad environment, seeing as she will adopt whatever she is shown/told.
She can still hold onto her learned humanity for as long as Otenko remains in her, seeing as he is the holder of her soul. (Which ALSO means that if he is separated from her for an extended time she WILL begin to be more detached, cruel, cold, and even violent because she isn't human and is reverted back to what she was originally taught)
♥️ 3: When and how did their ability first appear and develop?
When she was nine years old; it was given to her at that age to combat her helplessness she felt after she believed she got her uncle killed and her mother's suicide (neither were truly her fault btw)
♥️ 19: How did they or would they fare during Dead Apple?
It would most definitely depend on how fast she killed her counterpart. Seeing as Otenko himself would be unaffected, if the fight was done quickly before her ability could break more seals, she would be fine.
She was unaffected by the whole fog situation when it happened because she was told to remain home to avoid what chaos her ability could cause if it was taken (the fog didn't reach her part of the mountain)
♦️ 1: Are they currently affiliated with an organisation, canon or otherwise?
She is currently with the Port Mafia as an executive (I do have an AU where she's with the ADA but that's a diff story www)
♦️ 2: Did they use to be in one? If they’re in one currently were they in a different one before?
She was formerly working under her father and aunt but it was disbanded and destroyed after their murders (basically a family-run gang with her father as the leader and her aunt as his second-in-command)
♦️ 3: Do they plan to or want to join or leave one? Do you plan to have them join or leave one?
Her loyalty binds her to the Port Mafia but if she had to leave it, she would join the ADA to stay with Dazai in the light (I did intend on having her leave the PM to join the ADA eventually, but that's still being decided on)
♦️ 5: What organisation do they think is the best fit for them?
Port Mafia 100%. Runner up is the ADA, and third is the Special Ops.
♦️ 6: What is it really?
Port Mafia since she's grown up her whole life in that sort of life, but it's still tied with the ADA since she has shown an inherent need to protect people and want to save others
♦️ 15: Do they like who they work with?
Hell yeah she does (esp Chuuya, she loves having someone who can give her a run for her money with her in terms of martial arts prowess)
♦️ 16: Do they like their boss?
It's mixed... She respects Mori heavily and sometimes views him like her father due to the slight personality similarities, but overall she's not crazy about him.
(I have a feeling she would probably not like him much if she found out he was actually the reason both her father and aunt were killed in front of her on her 13th birthday)
♣️ 1: Do their peers consist of canon characters or other OCs?
Both; OC adoptive brother and caretaker, but the rest of her peers are canon characters
♣️ 2: How liked are they by their peers?
Depends on who you ask, but overall she is semi-liked and heavily respected (except for Akutagawa he does NOT like her ass...)
♣️ 3: How much do they like their peers?
She views the majority of them like her family or well-loved comrades-in-arms
♣️ 4: Are they friends with fellow organisation members?
Closest with Chuuya due to their similar interests and personalities, she's considered good friends with Higuchi, Gin, and Hirotsu, and decent friends with Kouyou and Tachihara
♣️ 16: Who were their mentors? Do they become a mentor?
'Mentored' by Dazai for the majority of his time in the PM, but she didn't really need it, seeing she was already well above skilled in the fields due to her previous training under her father
She was trained by Verlaine to some degree, and partially guided by Kouyou, but that was it
♠️ 1: How quick are they to fight?
Depends on the situation, but she is always ready to go whenever it comes up, especially if it's to protect one of her loved ones
♠️ 2: How about to injure, or kill?
If she's fighting? Yes, she is making sure they aren't coming out of it without something missing
She's scarily skilled at dispatching someone or wounding them severely
♠️ 3: Do they prefer to resolve things peacefully or aggressively?
If peaceful is what the situation calls for, then that's what she will do, but she's more inclined to resolve it as quickly as possible, which is usually aggressively
♠️ 10: Which other characters would you say their morals are closest to?
Definitely Dazai, seeing as he imprinted on her heavily since she knew him during the years that mattered on how she was going to relearn how to be human (and it just makes sense to me that the oc based off me would be like him since I kin Dazai heavily AND I MEAN HEAVILY)
She's definitely more morally grey after she was with him and adopted whatever he showed her, but she does tend to be like Chuuya as well
