Although I really love the idea of Derek being some sort of canine beastkin (gives us the opportunity to put him on a leash!!) I 100% believe he’d be some sort of cat. Think about it. With the way he is? He already seems the type to knock shit off of counters just to annoy people- but as a feline beastkin, all of his preexisting asshole behaviors would be amped up by a million.

Kitty beastkin Derek would bother you for attention, just to snap at you once you start touching him too much.

I know Derek already has a secret sweet tooth, but I bet he has a soft spot for anything strawberry flavored.. (Or anything fruit flavored in general, but strawberry is his biggest favorite.)

He absolutely thinks that strawberry milk is better than chocolate milk. He’d inject straight strawberry syrup into his veins if he could. He loves anything artificially and chemically sweet. Nobody knows about this though, it’d fuck with his image so bad.

Is he rich? Yes. Does that stop him from buying the cheapest, red40 saturated candy he can find? No. No it does not.
