he’s a vet

he runs his own clinic and works very closely with the local sheep farmers

very interested in natural history and is always reading new studies and papers that have been published

carries a little notebook around with him that he keeps notes about plants and animals he’s seen in

he also picks wildflowers and presses them to keep in his notebooks 

sometimes he presses flowers to give to silna, who appreciates the sentiment but doesn’t understand why he picks them when he could just go outside and look at them while they’re still alive

sometimes he volunteers at silna’s rehabilitation centre in his spare time

trips over and falls in the mud a lot
