Blonde Hair, Black Lungs - Soroity Noise

Relax / Divide - Hail the Sun
Damaged Goods - La Dispute
To me, Hobo Heart is definitely a detached, reserved, melancholic, almost naïve kind of guy. He always keeps to himself, even more so after what happened to CeeCee. At the mansion, nobody really bothers him either. In fact, his aura makes it very easy for him to live life as a shadow. Slipping through small towns unnoticed as a wave of despair after a sudden, gruesome death.
Because of the way hobo heart looks he really can't go out during the day, this means he is almost completely nocturnal, his blue eyes reflect in the dark like a cat's. It says on his wiki that he has his wings because a crow feather was accidentally mixed in when conjuring him, so I think he would have some crow-like tendencies too. I like to imagine the bone tattoos he has as a kind of protruding exoskeleton. It doesn't stick out too much from his skin, but enough to be noticeable. But sadly because he looks the way he does i think this would push him away even more from regular human life.
Hobo Heart moves around a lot due to his organ-stealing proclivities. Usually he stays in barn lofts or attics; sometimes he will find an abandoned house and stay there. Really anywhere warm-ish and dry with plenty of room for his little dog. He mainly hunts in small towns where a corpse with missing organs would most likely be written off as an especially hungry coyote or a vicious mountain lion. He never stays long after a kill.
For the most part, it’s just him and his little dog, and he’s almost content with that. Hobo heart travels light, he doesn't need much. All he really has are the clothes on his back and a small pack of miscellaneous items. Dog treats, a hoodie, maybe some canned Chef Boyardee ravioli if he is in the mood to eat, and a pack of cards or something to entertain him during the lonely nights.
I think Hobo Heart is also prone to bouts of depression. It can be really hard on him. The perpetual loneliness he imposes on himself, as well as the almost constant rumination about what happened with CeeCee and what could have been. He has a lot weighing on his heart and no way to express it. He doesn’t know how to cope with all of his feelings. The anger, the sadness, the resentment, the regret… it hits him hard. He is a very emotional boy.
He has almost died a few times by letting a heart rot within him instead of going out to get a new one. One time he let it rot willingly in an attempt to end his existence. The only thing that saved him was his dog nuzzling into him, reminding him there is more to life than just the past. Hobo and his Dog are inseparable and he is the main reason hobo has chosen to continue to survive.
Though he is largely detached from human interaction and pretty naïve (as seen with early interactions with CeeCee), he is definitely not shy or stupid. He is bold when stealing hearts; in his mind, he can afford to be. It's how he survives after all. He is also smart about stalking the people he has chosen. He is very observant and picks up on people's peculiarities. All the people whom he kills deserve it, he makes sure of that. He feels no guilt.
Now, even though Hobo Heart is good at hunting people, he is horrible at interacting with people. I think it’s a combination of verbal and physical cues he struggles with understanding. When people act one way, yet say something else, it confuses him. He doesn’t understand why people are so... hypocritical. If you say something, he will take it at face value. Everything is very literal to him.
Hobo Heart slinks through the halls of one of the various abandoned 'mansions' the creeps lay claim to. He has been looking for his dog al morning with little luck.
as he makes his way through the large house he is drawn to the kitchen. a loud ruckus draws him in. perhaps whoever is in there will help him look.
hobo peaks around the corner and into the kitchen, where a boy, Toby he believes, is trying to make a sandwich.
"Excuse me, Toby, have you seen my dog?" hobo asks, his voice is raspy and quiet. he doesn’t talk much.
Toby glances over his shoulder briefly before speaking. "He-hes on your he-ad." Toby says with a sly smile.
Hobo reaches his hand up to brush over his white hair, patting the top of his head a few times before frowning at the boy. "No, he isn't. Why would you lie to me Toby?"
"God- ne-nevermind..." Toby mutters. He can't even poke fun at Hobo without feeling bad about it. It was just too sad.
I think if he does end up getting closer to people, whether it be from moving into the mansion or if he somehow falls into a relationship. He will start to understand things like metaphors, idioms, and sarcasm. Especially if he hangs out around people like Toby, Ben, or Nina, who frequently joke and prod at each other
Some of the creeps I see him becoming friends with are Jack Nyras; they are both melancholic, monstrous 'outcasts', and I think they probably have a lot in common. Natalie Ouellette; I can see them having long conversations about hunting and living on the road. Jane, who is calm and rational (outwardly at least) and who helps him talk through things. And Helen Otis, they enjoy playing cards together in the attic I think. I also think he would have an older cousin kind of relationship with Sally. She loves playing with his dog and even taught him to spin for treats. They all really help Hobo, even if they don't see him much. They have a good influence on him and his mindset. Well, as good an influence as a cast of killers can have at least...
Some of the creeps I definitely do not see him getting along with are Jeff, he is too abrasive and vulgar for him. Ben, as he never takes anything seriously and almost everything he says confuses Hobo. And the Puppeteer, who remind Hobo of all the worst parts of himself.
In the same vein as the relationship idea, I do think it would be very hard for him to be with another person because of how much he has shut himself off. Especially post-CeeCee. She was both a Saint and a sinner to him, and he hated and loved her for that. I feel like it would be hard for him to get close to anyone at all. The only people he could get close to would be other creeps or monsters. I think it would be really hard for him to fall in love or even be friends with another mortal human.
Now, let's say he does, by some miracle, fall in love with you.
Everything with hobo takes time. He is like a feral cat, you need to wait for him to come to you. All you can really do in the meantime is show him you care, be patient, and in time you two will become close. As you two become close expect your sleep schedule to shift from diurnal to nocturnal, Hobo is only ever up at night. He would also enjoy movie marathons, and i can see him playing since video games too. he also loves to play card games. Blackjack, Garbage, Oldmaid, Nerts, you name it.
Like i said i think it would take time for Hobo Heart to realize he likes you, but once he does, he would be so paranoid. Even before he realizes he likes you, he was constantly petrified of bad things happening to you, always checking i on you, always conviently, in the same rooms of the house you were. But now, he openly follows you everywhere. Which, assuming you are immune to his depressing aura, would not fare well for your social life.
I do think he takes this fact into account and i think it would give him a secret satisfaction in knowing that everyone else is too depressed and withdrawn to hang out with you. He has you all to himself. I think it will probably be a stressor in your relationship. It will take a while for him to feel safe leaving you alone for a long period of time.
Regarding his lifestyle, and the fact that he is constantly worrying about your wellbeing, he wouldn't want to draw you into his murders. Even though you are already, presumably, a creep. there is a very loud nagging piece of him that is scared what happened to CeeCee will happen to you. This is partly why he is so paranoid and fearfull of something bad happening to you. But like his horrible social skills, I think his paranoia will get better with time.
Every 30 days he needs to replace his heart. He always hates leaving you, and when he comes back expect to spend the day wrestling yourself out of his arms. Like a crow, he will bring you small gifts when he comes back from replacing his heart. Sometimes it's a necklace from whichever unfortunate soul was maimed by him. Other times it's a flower, or a shiny rock, a pretty card, or even food.
Once the two of you are together, his initial suffocating clinginess aside, I think Hobo would make a pretty good boyfriend. He is attentive, loyal, and tries to be kind. Which is saying a lot considering all the other creeps. He wants you to be happy. Seeing you happy makes him happy, and he would do anything to keep a smile on your face.
he would love to lay with you for hours, cuddling, or maybe just side by side.
Even though he is a huge sweetheart, he can also be very possessive, distrustful of others, and caught up in his own head. He really can't help it though. He just doesn't want to lose you. He has felt what it's like to lose a love before, and he never wants to feel that again. If he does, he isn't sure he will make it out this time.
"I love you so much, please never leave me- my heart couldn't take it... It would break without you. I am sure of it. So please, tell me that you will stay with me, forever."
plz dont feel my fics or art into AI im going to find you and KILL you!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!
