I really hope Lila is a senti-being only for the fact that I don’t like the idea that someone else could be behind tbe whole thing.

The deal with Lila is that she is crazy smart and only ever “teams up” (I’d use team up lightly) if it can benefit her.

She could be a senti-being in full autonomy of herself, but if she is there will always be a “what if it’s not really her?”

It has been revealed via The Cable Forum that Disney Channel USA will be airing both parts of the finale in August, with Secret Protocol (6x25) premiering August 1st and Nemesis (6x26) premiering August 8th !!

These dates have been added to the airdates post, and while yes this is pretty far away lol, lets cross our fingers that another channel comes in before then, esp since Disney is usually the last to premiere episodes. If not though at least we have a latest possible timeline to go off of ;_).

Stay tuned for more news, and last thing I'll mention while I'm here is a reminder that starting next Saturday, Disney will be airing the english dubs for The Dirtifiers, The Chained Titans, and Queen of the Dreadzone. You can see the exact details on that in the aforementioned airdates post :)

hey everyone I'm happy to introduce to you

Frenglish differences in miraculous

which is a series where I'll be highlighting the differences between the French and English dubs of the wonderful show that is Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

I've always watched the show in its original language and I really recommend doing so but I recognise that it isn't necessarily doable depending on the subtitles people have available to them and the fact that they might be based on the alternate dub rather than a translation of what is said in French, so I thought I'd do this as a way to both show the differences and the things that people might miss, as well as sharing some interesting facts I've noticed! I'll be making one post per episode, with for each notable difference what is said in English, what is said in French with my translation and sometimes a little comment from yours truly 😌.

I'll have to make a few disclaimers as I always do with these things so here are the main ones:

I have done this (rewatching and recording the differences) a looong time ago so I might have changed my opinion on a few things since then, although I'll try to go over and correct if really needed

I didn't actually watch it in English (sorry I really don't like watching dubs) but I instead used the subtitles available on Disney+ which seemed to be an accurate transcription of the dub. however if I've made any mistake feel free to point it out! it also means that I only focus on the text and not the delivery of the lines

I kept the translation of the original french voice acting quite literal and I am in no way competent in linguistics (women in STEM 🫡)

I've only done this for season 1, as I believe fandubs are available for the further seasons but if people are interested I might do the other ones, however I don't have access to legal streaming services with subtitles anymore so it might be a bit more complex for me

I'm not pointing out every single difference because some are uninteresting or just due to simple language differences, but only the ones I personally found interesting/relevant

I didn't include things that happen in every episode (aka the theme song or transformation phrases), but I might do a separate post for them if anyone's interested

RTS HAS DELAYED THE LAST TWO EPISODES OF SEASON 6 ‼️‼️

Well….. you read that correctly 🫩

On their Tv Guide, the last two episodes (Secret Protocol and Nemesis) have been replaced with ‘The Ruler’ and ‘Noe’, meaning their likely delaying these episodes until future notice 🫠

I’ll keep you updated on if new information comes our way, but for now I’ve updated the airdates post and pinned post with the correction, and stay tuned :( knew it was too good to be true 😭

In the first part I said my fav for not only the first half but the whole season is El Toro De Piedra. A close second would be Chained Titans!

It explores an important perspective about divorce that kids especially need to hear. It also has some really cute kwamii swap moments and I just know after everything goes down we’re not going to get as many.

Easily El Toro De Piedra not only for the first half but the whole season.

The entire theme of the season and the core problems Marinette and Adrien will face are all in this episode. It’s the first time Marinette almost tells Adrien the truth only to not because of papa corn.
