You see, I *could* use a computer or iPaddydaddy to make this process faster, but I won't. This #oldskool method of drawing, tracing, and redrawing is the magic for me. I can't tattoo like an #ipad can "draw," so I'm not going to lie to you and pretend. The #handdrawn look is special. It took care, attention, walking away and coming back, sweat, #nightmares , anxiety and impatience. My #customtattoos go through a similar pain. That's why I'm slow. I can't keep up with the kids churning shit out like machines. I can't blend color like #drawingsoftware . What a great time last night! Here is @robynhitchcockofficial and @emmaswiftsings performing at The Old Church in #portland. I was reminded again of how we're all a little bit older (wiser is debatable), takes a little more beer to get our well trained livers to allow us to feel a buzz, which consequently means more trips to the bathroom in the middle of a song. It also meant running into friends from the past, reaffirmations of friendly affections, and remembering that every day is a gift. For a night, I liked Portland again.
