I’m Kittybun, or I go by Jujubee on my main. This is my side blog for stuff related to Petre (maybe some Agere too?) bc I don’t want friends seeing TvT

She/They pronouns pls!! :P

I’m really new to the pet regression community and I’m VERY much still figuring this all out so this blog is probably just gonna be my random weirdness and questions. Also, I’m a minor, so keep things SFW please

Some things about me: Petre (kitty and puppy, maybe some bunny), possibly agere but I think that’s only when overwhelmed and I probably won’t do much with that here. I’m autistic, adhd, and I have anxiety— probably depression and @N@ as well but ehhh-

I do actually have a (SFW) server for other pet regressors, therians, alterhumans, caregivers/owners, and anyone else within that sort of community!!! Everyone is welcome tho, as long as they’re kind :3

so uhhh turns out I was probably developing fatty liver before I started losing weight and we only discovered it because of the ultrasound we did because of gallbladder pain and the surgeon checking on my liver during the surgery to get my gallbladder removed-

gonna get another ultrasound in a few months to check on my liver and make sure it’s recovering like we think it is TwT

feeling very bunny-y the past few days and having a slight identity crisis over whether I’m more of a kitty or a bunny bc my brain hates change and fluctuating even within myself 😔💔

just had my gallbladder removed a few hours ago; everything went well and I’m already home and working towards recovery <3

I finally summoned the courage to buy a paci from Etsy (it’s so cute bc there’s a lil dino plush with a zipper so it’s a lil pouch for hiding the paci) and now I just gotta hope that my parents never ever see it once it arrives TwT

Shoutout to the littles who don’t like calling their caregiver mummy/daddy or any other parental term, whether it’s for trauma-related reasons or you just don’t like it. You’re valid and loved <3

realizing that I think I was a little before I even knew what the term was bc I vividly remember in middle school having Sun and Moon from FNAF SB as comfort characters, but comforting in the way of caregivers, and wishing I could be like one of the kids in the daycare that Sun would pick up and hug and cheer up and Moon would tuck in for naptime and comfort when they had a nightmare

One of my friends made me a Sun-themed bracelet while she had the Moon one and I remember I was having a bad day so I clutched my bracelet in my hand as I walked across the gym and imagined Sun was holding my hand, and on bad nights I’d imagine Moon giving me a big hug and watching over as I slept

basically I had fictional/imaginary caregivers before I even knew what that meant TwT

I found the cutest lil thing on Etsy where it’s a paci and a dino plushie BUT the dino has a zipper on its back and it’s a lil pouch to put the paci in and I reeeally wanna get it but I can’t ask my parents bc I don’t want them to think I’m weird or know about my regression TwT

Kiddo who’s so used to taking care of themself. Making their own pasta, cutting off their own crusts, filling their own cup, putting bandaids on their own owies. Kiddo who spent so long taking care of themselves and self soothing they don’t know how to act with a carer now looking out for them. Instinct tells them self soothe, to be quiet and take care of it themselves.

Their carer finds them all the time, standing on a stool to stir pasta they’re making, muffling their cries with a teddy bear or cleaning up their own scraped knees. And carer is trying to be patient, rushes in and tries to take over so kiddo knows they’re not alone and they’re being taken care of now.

“I know you can, button. But I wanna do it for you, okay? I like taking care of you.”

How to regress (AGERE)?

🧸 1. Create a Safe Space

Find a private, quiet, and comfortable place.

Use soft lighting, cozy blankets, and items that feel safe.

If you have a caregiver (CG), let them know you're regressing. (If possible! some littles may be nonverbal <3)

🎨 2. Gather Comfort Items (Optional but Helpful)

Stuffies/plushies

Blankets or pacifiers

Sippy cups or bottles

Snacks (like applesauce, juice boxes, goldfish crackers)

Toys, coloring books, or sensory items

🎧 3. Choose Comforting Activities

Watch cartoons or kids’ movies

Color or play with toys

Listen to lullabies or soft music

Nap or cuddle with a stuffed animal

Use kids' apps or games

Talk in a childlike voice if it helps

🫧 4. Let Go of Adult Worries

Try to mentally "put away" responsibilities

Use affirmations like: "I am safe." "I don’t have to worry right now." "It’s okay to be small."

🛑 5. Set Limits

Set a timer if you have things to do later

Avoid regressing in unsafe or inappropriate environments

Practice self-care after regressing — drink water, reflect gently, and ease back into your usual mindset

Optional: Journaling or Memory Triggers

Some find it helpful to keep a regression journal or make a playlist of comforting songs, shows, or smells that help trigger the regressed mindset.

⚠️ Important Notes

Please keep an eye on yourself; keep safe when regressing.

Remind yourself: “It’s okay to need comfort.” There’s no shame in wanting to feel little or cared for.

You don’t have to “act like a child” — regression is about your internal experience, not outward behavior.

Everyone's regression looks different; there is no wrong or right way to regress.

it really sucks to be some kind of little (Petre or Agere or anything in between) and not have a caregiver, at least for me. I’m a really sensitive person as-is, but when I feel small, it’s worse T^T

I don’t think I’ve ever fully regressed or anything and I’m not sure if I even fully CAN but I can’t even test that because I never feel safe and comfortable enough with myself to try alone. Doesn’t help that I don’t have any irl friends who are regressors either

small update, changing my user from Kittypup to Kittybun bc I’m realizing that I’m more bunny than puppy, tho the main critter is still kitty :P

also I have literally no idea how to refer to any of this bc it’s sort of kintype stuff but more like Kemonomimi than the full critter, but it’s ALSO pet regression too-

identity is confusing and I’m still getting used to not feeling like I’m cringe for any of it TvT 💔

sucks to kin a creature that has a mostly-carnivorous diet while you yourself can’t eat most meat because of sensory issues TvT 💔 gotta settle for Goldfish instead
