Steve is wired. Up and running successfully 🎉🎉🎉🎉 (Using the Bare Conductive Touch board we've programmed sound effects for each modular feature. We thought simply having conductive material on the backs of each piece would work fine; what we didn't realize was it needs a human touch to truly trigger. Lesson learned. #ITSALIVE ...and it looks like American Cheese. This is us Vacuum Forming the 3D face we printed... it became a perfect mould for latex pours we could then remove and layer onto the original mask, like skin 💉... MEET STEVE (Jr). Original Steve is the last pic. Tasked w creating an #Avatar my group is constructing an Interactive Sculpture. Each feature will trigger an audio effect when removed. Starting with styrofoam and taped lines he's now advanced to a 3D print w all the fixins. We've now drilled his face in each cavity (sorry Steve) so we can thread the wires through to the speaker/touch board, nestled in his skull.
