NOTES ? ! merry early christmas ig, i’m too lazy to write a whole oneshot so here’s some hcs.
tw: mentions of panic attack / claustrophobia.
They never flirt openly. They thrive on sexual tension, stolen glances and brief touches.
Alisa is one of the very few people who can interrupt Knox mid-sentence and not irritate him (even if he acts like it does).
They argue often, sometimes even saying hurtful things without meaning to.
After arguments, Knox is always the one who shows up first, usually with coffee. He knows Alisa is to prideful, but also feels bad about it.
Knox doesn’t talk much about his past and Alisa never pushes. Instead, she remembers the fragments he drops and stitches them together in her own mind.
Alisa is relentlessly competitive, and Knox finds that deeply attractive.
It may or may not turn him on.
Knox’s favourite subject is Alisa. He studies her, the way her pen pauses when she’s lying, the way her mouth tightens when she’s worried but pretending she’s not. The way her voice wavers when she’s hurt.
They don’t do much PDA, but Knox’s hand at the small of Alisa’s back in crowded rooms is grounding, and intimate (even if she sometimes twists his wrist if he bothers her).
They don’t promise forever: Alisa is afraid of it, and Knox is still caught up with Calla, but they try to build a relationship based on loyalty.
Knox may also know how Alisa is ticklish when someone kisses her neck.
He may also call her “Lawyer Lady” just to see the scrunch of her nose when she’s pissed.
Knox loves it when after a night together to “unwind”, she wakes up late and cusses him out trying to get in her heels and tame her wild hair.
Alisa knows that threading her fingers in his hair calms him down, especially when he’s very angry.
He also sleeps better when she’s beside him, nightmares aren’t as scary anymore.
Knox sometimes tells her about Severin’s teaching, or some past memories he has with Brady.
Alisa doesn’t know why Knox and Brady had a fall out, but she tries her best not to use a very Xander flying tackle when she sees the latter. (Gigi might help her).
Knox once was on the verge of a panic attack because they were locked inside a small room, but Alisa managed to keep his mind there with her.
It was the first time Knox had been vulnerable with her, his head resting against her chest as his body trembled.
They are both too stubborn, so conversations aren’t easy. But they try to communicate to keep their relationship mature and stable.
