Eye fresher. Trying my hand at ambient occlusion technique–using Neko Atsume characters, of course. 9_9;; I am planning to make a tutorial…if anyone actually cares about the approach. Kbye.
Starting colors on some parts.
カンザシウミウシ Limacia ornata (Baba, 1937)
I decided that I didn’t want to have hair so long that it grew down past my tailbone anymore. So I shaved that shit off. Momohime (the name I have given the orchid in this photo) bops me in the head when I work with the betta tanks. Which is why it only has two blooms left on it, because I kind of, you know, ended up popping them off the inflorescence. WHOOPS.
Art Aquarium exhibition by Hidetomo Kimura
Aquarium Art is an art exhibition by Japanese artist Hidetomo Kimura that will be host by Circolo Filologico Milanese in Milan from May 28th to August 23rd. For the first time outside Japan, an international premiere in Milan for Expo 2015, Art Aquarium will exhibit the performing art of the goldfish. The main theme is the Kingyo goldfish, a symbol of prosperity and fortune in the Japanese culture. The water tanks, Art Aquarium’s monumental installations, are uniquely-designed works of art with music, lights, images and smells.

Botanical Artist Uses Foraged Materials to Create Organic Works of Art
Seattle artist Bridget Beth Collins forages for her own art supplies and then uses these materials to create Mother Nature-inspired works of art. “I love to adventure into the wildflower woodlands, mossy waterfalls, and grey sand starry expanses of the Pacific Northwest,” Collins explains. “I forage almost all of my creations from foliage and flowers plucked from our sidewalks, meadows, and woods in our neighborhood. I have a small garden in the city, and my mother has a big rambling secret garden filled with old English roses in the sea town of Edmonds where I grew up.”

Come on BB-8!
My sister’s golden mystery snail, Sandmoose, passed a few days ago. He was a very lively, and well-loved snail. I made this origami memorial piece for her, to celebrate his amazing snail-y life. Thank you, Sandmoose, for the wonderful memories.

SENPAI DON’T CARE.
I got to give Boba Fett, my sister’s ( @kittysnacks) assassin snail, a snack today!! Hint: he’s the brown and yellow cone-shaped kid in the tank. 😉 These are some photos of him trying to hunt down his snack.
I’m building an origami snail army.
One of a thousand things I’m working on (block printing project). These are two (stacked) of four block designs. More to come later.
