Had to take a break from drawing to go be an adult and work for a while, but my sketch book stares at me all the time wondering when I'll come back. I will sometime because there's so much I want to do! I've also got a small comic con event coming up that I have a booth at, so this is also what I've been working on! Along with a bunch of other fun things because I'm an awful procrastinator and am doing this all at the last minute. XD

Got a little bit more progress made. I really started playing around with shadows and now I have a love/hate relationship with them. I'm getting down to the final bits that are of course the most challenging parts... Laws helps me. 🙃

Progress update! I didn't have to work the last few days so I haven't had to be an adult and it's been wonderful. This has been such a great challenge and I'm excited to see it completed!

These last few days have been such a whirlwind for me and I still haven't calmed tf down. Today I got to go in to KSU's art dept and use their fancy scanners to make my Vicar Max drawing into a digital file. So now I'm one step closer to being able to sell my first print ever! ALSO. I was going back through my screenshots from twitter and realized that Jonathan Silver also liked my post and I didn't even realize it! 🤦🤦😍 BABY FELIX LIKED MY POST AND I DIDN'T NOTICE. 😭😭

I tweeted at Max's voice actor and character writer and they tweeted back!!! AND HE FOLLOWED ME BACK! Excuse me while a go run a damn marathon with all this energy and excitement! Who needs a ship with a skip drive when I am buzzing so freaking much I could skip to the next galaxy by myself. 😂

He's finished and y'all, I am over the moon right now! I think most of the time over the last 3 days was spent staring at this and contemplating every little bit of his face and playing on my phone rather than actually drawing. But here we are! I didn't think it was possible to be even more in love with Max, but I guess I'm full of surprises. 😂🥰 Thank you, thank you, thank you to those who showed me kindness and support! I might be new to this platform and we might be strangers, but your encouragement is genuine and Laws, I love it! (Also to those who write fanfic for TOW because I read alot of it too while working on this. Y'all are amazing writers and hella kinky and I approve.💖💖)

My greatest downfall about trying to draw humans, faces specifically, is that I'm hypercritical of how they look. If the drawing is just slightly off it drives me up a wall, especially if it's someone you "know" (obviously he's not real, but in-game he's fleshed out; has a personality, thoughts, feelings and the like, and you spend a lot of time getting to know him if you choose to have him accompany you). I pick apart every art piece I see without meaning to and of course it also prevents me from going ham and getting my own stuff done. I annoy myself. I've probably spent most of my drawing time just sitting here staring at this trying to convince myself to put pencil to paper.🤦 Y'all, I'll get there eventually... I've at least got the starting of eyebrows!

Getting back into drawing for the first time in probably ten years so I decided to start with my main squeeze! Having a good time and DEFINITELY not avoiding working on his face. 👀👀😅 Faces are not my strong suit but by golly I'm gonna try! Any pointers would be greatly appreciated too. I'll post the finished drawing later!
