I’ve been through hell and back these past few months and what I’ve come to realize is…. a bitch is invincible to be quite honest
just ate over 1000 calories in one meal
breakfasts in the dining hall are my weakness. the eggs are gross, so i end up eatibg the bacon and pancakes and muffins and soo many carbs. today they had mini croissants which are my weakness. from now on on my non-fasting days maybe i should skip breakfast because im worried that im eatibg so much that its counteracting my fasting days anyway
starting a new diet
because im 308 fucking pounds. or at least i was last saturday.
i have high hopes for this one- the 4:3 diet. Monday, Wednesday, Friday you eat like 500~ calories, and low sugar, and the other days u eat whatever u want, but try not to do more than normal.
the theory is that you enter a kinda-ketogenic state on the fasting days, and burn lots of fat, and also decrease calories in overall.
i think i can stick to it because its much easier to eat nothing at all(not even walk into the dining hall) than to eat but try to limit yourself.
today was my first fasting day, and i made it! I had water, a 10 cal kevita kombucha, coffee with cream, unsweetened iced tea, and a quest bar. was hungry earlier but it passed.
a little worried body has entered "starvation mode" and will hold on to fat instead of shedding it, but i guess we'll see. at this point im just kinda desperate.
succumbed to sugar today :(

what i did well today:
-downloaded myfitnesspal
-tracked everything
-no soda
-no ice cream
-resisted panera
-went to target without buying food
what i can do better tomorrow:
-avoid such a large breakfast, or choose healthier breakfast options
-drink more water
-practice self acceptance and love
I need help. Please.
I am 18 years old and over 300 pounds. 5'8.5". Major Depression and General Anxiety. Tired all the time. Hypertension, prediabetes, high cholesterol. Poor and stressed about paying for college. I can't afford a diet coach or Atkins or Weight Watchers. I live in a dorm without a kitchen, and I'm on a pre-paid dining plan that would be wasteful if I didn't use. I am clumsy because there is just so much mass attatched to my frame that I can't keep myself from knocking stuff over. I have, in the past, tried: weight watchers, vegetarian, vegan, paleo, keto, myfitnesspal, and just plain old counting calories. I failed to stick to any of these, except for the ones that didnt help me lose weight anyway. I have given up hope and I'm beginning to think I don't deserve to look good or be healthy. I'm suicidal. I need help. I am stuck on what to do next. Where do I go from here? Am I unworthy to be anything more than the butt of a joke? Please, help me. What diets or exercises or lifestyle changes have actually worked for you? How do you not give up hope or lose motivation?
