When you get a gold star or golden heart at the beginning of each event? more specifically what the goal of stars and hearts

gold stars + gold hearts are given at the beginning of each event when you meet the requirements. If you check before starting an event, if you’re ineligible, it will say how much you have/how much you need.

e.g. you don’t have the gold star at the beginning of a star-studded event and it says 151/173. You need to purchase an item or two (or even three) WITH A STAR SYMBOL in the top right corner that will amount to 173 or more than 173 stars.

e.g. you don’t have the gold heart at the beginning of a date but it says 120/136. You need to purchase items WITH A HEART SYMBOL in the top right corner that will amount to 136 or more than 136 stars.

How come you can only sometimes watch videos to get silver stars? Sometime's they're unavailable.
