babs and cass are so fascinating to me because in a way she projects her own feelings onto cass. she sees a teenage girl and projects teenage girl feelings and wants onto cass. she reads cass’ interactions with a lot of men as romantic because SHE felt flirty/sexy as batgirl (babs saying “instantly i would turn into this wild, sexy smart-mouthed acrobat with a knockout smile and a punch to match”, vs babs seeing cass fighting bruce on soul “are you trying to kill him.. or kiss him” and “you’ve got a crush on the boss!”). she wants cass to be a regular teenage girl, to meet boys and go out and have friends etc because it’s something she didn’t do much of when she was a teenager (in bop, babs mentions not having many friends, her only prom date was her dads coworkers son, her only friend was katarina, etc.). she wants to take cass to stuff babs enjoys (the cruise, the movies, acting lessons). babs is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum on how cass’ parents see her- of david viewed her as Only a weapon, babs views her as only a teenage girl.

No offence to hudson williams but if he got cast as nightwing i would not be happy. I can't find anything on him having a history with martial arts or dance and for the physicality of dick grayson/nightwing, this is essential.

There has never been a good nightwing fancast because nobody ever considers this. They all just go with the darkhaired pretty boy of the month.
