What the Anon is saying - that Major media and Hollywood âwouldnât believe it was realââŠÂ  The reality could be a case of the opposite being true.
I honestly think the media, Hollywood and Broadway all know about CrissColfer. The media you bet, was warned off by Sunshine Sachs, never to publish about Chris & Darren, unless they wanted the wrath of SS to descend on them. There is an old rumor that someone went to some media outlets with some dirt on some Glee related people and their reaction wasnât to publish them but to warn the people in charge immediately.
The way I see it, Most of Hollywood - who know Darren and Chris or know of Darren and Chris⊠know them to be a couple. The first couple of years, Chris and Darren were together at a lot of events, and seen at them and photographed too but they avoided the couple pictures. Time 100 Gala, Eltonâs Oscar Viewing party, Trevor Live/s and several others.
There are a lot of exclusive clubs with entrances hidden from the public - where âthe rich and famousâ socialize and can spent time to eat/drink/party/have a quiet evening, with absolute guaranteed privacy. No pictures will ever leak from there. So you bet Chris and Darren were there and seen by a lot of the other Hollywood celebs. My point being, they are not exactly a secret in Hollywood.
The same with Broadway. Most of them know about Darren & Chris.
Once in a Blind item(2013), a commenter mentioned people on Broadway knowing about Criss and Colfer.
Here's another example. Chris went to an FSU reunion in LA that W attended as a FSU alum, hosted by Seth Rogenâs wife who is one too. While seated at the bar, a guy visiting from NYC, who attended the same reunion as a guest of a friend, spent a lot of time talking to Chris. Chris only introduced himself as an author. W was in the same picture that this guy eventually took but he didnât know who W was and Chris obviously didnât bother introducing him. The guy returns to NYC and a year later he finds that picture on his phone and posts it with a caption, including the words â#darrencriss eat your heart outâ. Later on when some fans pumped him, he said his friend, who works on Broadway told him about âChris & Darrenâ. This guy has no Broadway or industry background but he learnt that of CCâŠÂ from a friend âwho works on Broadwayâ.
All of the Cast and Crew of Glee knew about them. Every project that Chris or Darren worked on⊠their cast mates knew about their relationship. Kristen Wiig, at GML Paris premiere, reacted before even Darren did, when the man interviewing him called him âChrisâ and Darren did that searching for Chris cameo. The cast of SBL knew Darren. Everyone at Hedwig Belasco knew Chris and some were following him on social media. A lot of celebs came on Glee and you bet all of them left with the certainty that Chris & Darren were together. Who here hasnât reblogged Patty Dukeâs tweets?! Some of them like John Stamos and Ricky Martin of course, helped with staging later on. The list goes on.
They also attended a lot of birthday parties and concerts with people. We even got pictures and tweets from some, not to mention the staged pictures with beards that followed a few weeks later.
Even the chillarrens - a lot of them - are aware of the truth but they wonât openly admit it. Some noticed Darren (and Chris) leaving via the back entrance at a Trevor Live, after sending someone to collect the Criss parents, who were seated at the same table as M. So they made a post on their blog about someone collecting the Criss parents while leaving M behind. What they didnât know THEN was, Chris & Darren arrived together to the event even though they staggered the RCÂ appearance - Â and left together (as they lived together too).
M was usually brought to the events and for staging by AB or Ricky or one of their staff. Case in point the Trevor Live RC handshake after AB spoke to Darren. Â
There were two chillarrens who rented a home near Chrisâs previous home and I am sure they found in no time, it was Darren and NOT W, who lived there with Chris.Â
Bottomline, except for part of GA, CrissColfer isnât really âNEWâ news. That would account for the lack of fanfare or excessive reaction when they come out. Last year of excessive bearding âscreamsâ fake relationship. That mustâve caught a lot or at least some attention. If anyone who knew of CC had temporarily forgotten about them, a whole year of excessive coverage, mustâve reminded them of Darren trying to hide his REAL relationship. No real couple need to ham it up that much or take 50000 pictures. Darrenâs Daisy is not always hidden and so most people see him for who he really is.
Come on, who can be around CC for TWO minutes and NOT NOTICE their obvious chemistry and rapport⊠and hearteyes. 2010 - 2018? Thatâs a long time.
If we think they donât live together or vacation together or accompany each whenever and wherever possible⊠we are deluding ourselves. A lot of the times, we see the beards of course but you bet, the other half of CC was there too.Â
Again, my point being, chances are they spent time together with others who could be trusted (like SK in the earlier years when Chris went to Apocalyptour with Darren). Chris even gave Lauren Lopez a role in SBL. So the number of people who know of them - from all facets of life - start piling up. Â
