“When I found out that the tour would be kicking off in my hometown of San Francisco — the city where I was introduced to Hedwig and the Angry Inch — I could think of no better excuse to get back into the heels of a character I loved and missed so very much,” Criss said in a statement. “And since Los Angeles has become a second home for me, I relished the idea of seeing what kind of fun Hedwig would bring to the heart of Hollywood. Getting to share this fantastic Broadway production with the two great Californian cities of my own life story will hopefully be as much of a joy for me as it will be for audiences who will experience Hedwig’s life story on the West Coast!”

Get ready to gleek out!
Darren Criss, best known as Blaine Anderson on “Glee,” will launch the national tour of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” in San Francisco.Criss, a San Francisco native who studied at the American Conservatory Theater, who played the role for 12 weeks on Broadway, steps into the perilously high heels previously worn by Neil Patrick Harris and Taye Diggs in this Tony-winning revival.“When I found out that the tour would be kicking off in my hometown of San Francisco,” Criss noted in a release, “the city where I was introduced to ‘Hedwig and The Angry Inch’ – I could think of no better excuse to get back into the heels of a character I loved and missed so very much.”

and here at the end of Glee we have Kurt and Blaine raise their hand in victory as my OTP is supreme over all others
Glee’s final episode ‘Dreams Come True’ aired one year ago today - March 20th, 2015
…That’s what happens when you get married. Kurt and I are really happy. We’re having a very good life together.
It´s just so weird to think that before Chris Colfer came in to audition, Glee wasn´t supposed to even have one gay character.
Colfer single-handedly changed the direction of a what would become a mega-popular TV series while creating an iconic TV character at the same time, simply by auditioning.
I remember seeing ‘Aladdin’ when I was five or six and loving it. I looked at the big screen and said to my mom, ‘Whatever this Genie guy does, I want to do.’ Mom said I couldn’t be a genie, but that Robin Williams, who did the voice-over in the film, was an actor. So I said, ‘OK, then, I want to be an actor.’ | february 5, 1987
