Voltron is ending tomorrow and I am honestly really sad about that. Yes this show and its fandom had some issues, but honestly what show/fandom doesn’t. I’ll never forget all the precious memories this show gave me.

They could show that even though a girl has just gotten her heart broken she can be strong and independent.

That a girl and a boy can be friends even though one of them has liked the other.

That it is okay for two people of the same gender to be together.

That if you don’t feel good you should talk to someone.

Or that it’s okay to be who you are, doesn’t matter your race, gender or sexuality.

Instead they show kids that, if you keep flirting with someone even though they don’t like you in that way, they’ll eventually ‘come around’. Or that if you just got your heart broken by someone you liked, you can just jump to the next person without taking care of yourself before you move on.
