Let me tell you about my best friends and yes, before you ask, they are indeed some warmhearted people. So warmhearted in the sense they also saved my life. I have been listening to Timeflies for quite a while but it was until a couple years ago I really started listening. Just a little under two years ago I found out there was a large chance that I would have to drop out of college because I could not afford to go to school anymore and it was absolutely devastating. College is supposed to be your tears and then just a year and a half in I have to move back home… I mean how was that fair? Now at this time I was already listening to Timeflies checking their YouTube channel every so often to see if they uploaded any new crack fire covers of crack fire songs but when I finally got the bad news that I had to come home I really turned to their music and the healing power that music has. For awhile I could not talk about my situation without crying, just thinking about it made me tear up. During all this I was blessed to start following people on Twitter who welcomed me into what is called the Timeflies Family better known has the TF Fam. They saved me. They made me feel whole again. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. I have such a deep bond with some of the amazing guys and girls in this little Fam and I’m so grateful for all they’ve done for me. I could never thank them enough for being my lighthouses when I first needed them or the many other times including during my accident or when I thought my life was over. They gave me the courage to keep going. Cal and Rob, you gave me this. You gave me this family and I’m forever in debt to you. I love you guys so damn much.

Okay, time for another dumb post from Katy. Post topic: Rob Resnick of Timeflies. Alright, so I obviously knew he was musically talented when I first heard one of their songs back in 2011. And then under the sea dropped and I was like damn son, you play the kettle drum now too? But like, he plays piano, guitar, banjo, which basically means he’s already pulling on my heart strings (word play. String instruments). And he can probably pick up instruments really easily. So check, ya got me. But like, he’s also artsy. He paints a lot, and that’s super cool cause he’s really proud of it and hangs it above his piano, which is in his room I might add, and hey he might not be Van Gogh, but he’s still proud and it makes him happy. And he’s a straight man. He built his own shelving unit for his shoes. He didn’t go to ikea and pick up some shelves, no he drew it out, calculations and all, sawed up his own wood and shit and hung that shit. And he’s a scotch drinker. So while all the ladies are trynna get at cal, and don’t get me wrong I love me some cal, I’m trynna holla at Rez. Plus I have a semi selfie with him. So, that’s where I’m at. Cancel. And he has fucking tattoos so side note.
