Like Hayley telling Marcel how Caroline ran Klaus ragged back in Mystic Falls and what it was like watching them dance circles around each other? Or Rebekah bemoaning the fact that she had to call Caroline for help, but sometimes you have to pull out the big guns and Caroline Forbes is a big fucking gun where Klaus is concerned? Maybe Elijah finding out Klaus made a $3 million donation to Caroline’s school and making a quip about Klaus’ lovesick tendency to go for big gestures? Or Klaus fumbling to explain to Hope why exactly he’s sketching profiles of her headmistress at two in the morning? 

I’m just saying, there’s a lot of untapped potential here that wouldn’t even require Caroline and Klaus to breathe the same air.
