It turned out to be a little "50 shades of grey"-ish. Pretty simple to understand though. Caroline and Derek have this very complicated relationship. It doesn't really help that Derek is a werewolf and Caroline is a simple human being. He is really strong and powerful and she is just an innocent young lady. She didn't ask to have such a complicated love story but she just can't help feeling really attracted to Derek. Deep down they both know that they have to end this relationship before it goes too far but they might not be ready for that.
