#i bought the steven universe dvd boxset and have been binging the series/watching it with zero hiatuses for the first time #and all i can say is I STILL MISS THEM #in a show filled with so much toxic yuri jaspearl and rupphire would have fixed everything together #i get the impression that rebecca sugar REALLY didin't like Jasper #i'm cursed where I will always adore the one character the author/showrunner/devs hated the most #and it's always a character that never deserved to be hated so strongly by the creator...i just don't get it lmao #anyway rewatching SU has me falling back in love with these two again #i wasn't ever really ~apart~ of any jaspearl community back then but they were some of the most chill and talented people #i miss those days!#steven universe #jaspearl
