Finished this book for my #bookclub . I've not read any #marinalewycka books before. I know #ashorthistoryoftractorsinukrainian was a huge success. So gave her new one a go. Mixed reviews on this one. I couldn't really connect with the two main characters. And not must information about characters I wanted to learn about. I also felt she hasn't done much research on things like council flats and what people are entitled too when this was a huge part of the story. Was a shame and made me question the rest of the book. Wouldn't reccomended as a must read and don't know if I would read again but I did enjoy it. #bookclub #parkhillbookclub (at Park Hill, Sheffield)
