THE FLINTSTONES (1961) — 2.02 “Droop Along Flintstone”
I switched this URL klphotos.tumblr.com over to a main blog account to keep my private life more private at my personal blog, which this is currently a secondary to. Its blank as hell right now but if you would like to keep up with my concert photography shenanigans please go follow <3. I’m going to be reblogging all of my current posts over to it.

Sometimes, after my post concert high and the hour and a half drive home, I get on my laptop and immediately upload them. Every time I look at the photos of my night, I get “all choked up” and can’t believe I get to do what I love. Even though I’m doing it for experience right now going to shows I know I wanted to go to anyways, I know that somewhere along the line I might actually get paid to do this. I have weddings that I really enjoy, and tbh I wouldn’t do jobs I know I couldn't put my heart into but there is a whole different element of, to a certain extent, being apart of the artist process at a performance by my favorite musicians, as distant as it may be, that makes my soul happy beyond belief. I was born and raised in Anchorage, AK only recently moving down to NC for my husbands work. We’ve been here a little more than two years now and I’ve had more opportunities to go to shows in six months than I did in my entire teen years. I mean I waited seven years to see Say Anything and saw them for the first time with the Front Bottoms on their 2014 Hebrews tour. The only way I was able to connect with bands that I loved was by videos and photography since most of the time I was about 1000 miles away from the nearest concert. I just want my work to do the same for others. Spread the art because someone out there is relying on it to feel a connection to their favorite artists and be inspired to express themselves. Sorry not sorry for the sappy ass post.

I'll look out for you 'til I die, 'til I rot. I'll remember you 'til I die, until I rot. You're what keeps me believing the world's not gone dead, Strength in my bones put the words in my head. When they pour out to paper, it's all for you.

When your favorite musician is right in front of you and a few seconds later points the microphone at me to finish the lyrics. I fucking love you Max Bemis.
