Chat Services: A KM2 Specialty
One year ago this month, KM2 Solutions opened its first chat operation at its contact center in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Today, our chat campaigns are more successful than ever, providing chat bilingual (English/Spanish) service. Our chat volume increased nearly 25% in the past month alone. And, our QA score for chat care and support exceeded 99.5% for the past several months. KM2 and TELUS to manage LIME's St. Lucia new call centre
CASTRIES (LIME) -- Leading telecoms provider, LIME will be making significant improvements to its call centre operations in St. Lucia with new Canada-based partners TELUS and its global contact centre delivery arm, TELUS International and KM2.
KM2 is a regional contact centre business partner with considerable experience serving customers in St. Lucia. The centre will be part of the regional network offering LIME customers who use the service a familiar voice to assist them with their needs. Calls will also be facilitated through other world class centres in the region, which KM2 and Teleperformance will set up and manage. These other centres will be set up in Barbados and Jamaica. This includes agents who are able to handle a wider selection of enquiries, ensuring customers get the response they need faster and minimizing the need for transfers to other agents. This shows the talent that many of our kids at OYE have. We are very exciting in incorporating these kids in our mural project.
The kids on OYE designed this inspired on the ancient Mayans which form great part of the Honduran history. KM2 will be working along with OYE in painting a mural inspired on Mayan designs like this one at KM2 offices in Honduras.
KM2 Awards Check for 2 Scholarships Under OYE Programs
Last Friday employees from KM2 Solutions donated their first check to OYE Adelante Jovenes. This initiative from the company will contribute to ensure 2 scholarship programs for young Hondurans in need of OYE’s program. The money was collected during the month of July from employee donations in KM2.
Employee donations come from a program KM2 Solutions initiated for OYE in which consists of employees signing up voluntarily donating 1% of their salary to the cause. During the months of June and July KM2 had over 100 employees signing up and donating for the cause, which tells us something about the social awareness there is towards the country´s problems.

The Bay Area News Group (BANG), a division of MediaNews Group, has selected KM2 Solutions LLC (KM2) to manage inbound customer service calls including electronic edition chat support. KM2 will also manage specific outbound programs designed to increase subscriber retention and tenure; as well as provide back office support for the Bay Area News Group.

KM2 Wins Gold Medal in Green Valley Marathon.
Green Valley Industrial Park operates in Honduras and as part of their Social Responsibility Program they decided to form a Marathon to raise money for housing and schooling projects for underprivileged communities in the area. KM2 participated with help of several of our members such as the Julie Equitz, Site Manager for Honduras and our own Maggi Williams, Chief Global Strategy Officer!
Our male team won the gold medal for the relay race while female team won 2nd place but most importantly the activity was important to help out those communities who live under the line of poverty and are in much need for schooling and housing projects that thanks to Green Valley's support and all marathon's participants they can now hope for more.
