hello hello one and all! to celebrate recently hitting 500 followers, i wanted to host a little event for you all!

the event is going to be an edit raffle! all that you, dearest reader, have to do to participate is to reblog this post here and tag that you want to participate!

after a set amount of time (probably about a week, give or take the traction this post gets,) i’ll use a wheel to randomly select five raffle winners. the winners will each get three prizes: a ‘small edit’ (i.e., icons, twt layouts,) a ‘large’ edit (i.e., tmblr layouts, moodboards, pastebin graphics, gfx, etc,) and a psd.

winners will be announced via announcement post as well as contacted directly regarding prizes :-)

I know people say this like every few weeks but if you follow edit blogs or creators that you like and you want to keep creating you actually need to interact with them. I'm not saying become best friends but if you like the stuff they make or you request from them then you should reblog and at the very least like. Not to sound entitled or whatever but a lot of edit blogs thrive off of asks and interactions.

Creating just for attention isn't the Right Way to go about things but that's not what I'm saying. Showing support is not (always) feeding an ego. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone else but yeah basically I think editblr (at least the side I'm stuck in) has had this problem recently where people still to small groups of specific editors that they hype up and don't really scope outside of them and then are like 'wow why is editblr dead?' so, this is my reminder that you contribute to the very same community.

what app do you use to make your graphics? I've tried on ibis paint but the psd's don't work

I use ibispaintx for most my edits but I use my psds afterwards on photopea (a free version of photo shop) if you want a tutorial I recommend @.canarysage's photopea for dummies posts

I tend to reblog a lot of edits from older/abandoned blogs to my archive/resource blog. because of my engagement with these old posts, Tumblr often recommends me more content from that time!
