Violinist!Akashi x Violist!Kuroko AU

An idea I had a long time ago that never got written XD

Akashi is a concertmaster

Can we just imagine Akashi being the concertmaster and pulling off that Mendelssohn

Kuroko used to play the violin but when he entered the Teikou school orchestra back in high school there were too many violinists and too little violists

So he basically had to learn an entirely new clef but he managed to pull through with dedication

If we think about it, violists are said to maintain harmony and balance in orchestras. They’re sort of like the “shadows” of the orchestra. (OOOOH META jkjk)

Violist!Kuroko is tired of the viola jokes

It does not help that Akashi happens to be a violinist

But they work it out in their own cute way

He and Akashi have a violin and viola youtube channel where they upload sheet music and stuff for beginners and provide tutorials

But also they upload their performances and the shippers are haPPY xDD (Ex. Passacaglia for Violin and Viola)

Akashi is an advocate for #NoViolaBashing and #Equality4AllStrings 

And Kuroko loves him

The community loves them as a youtube channel and as a couple and they’re like “relationship goals???”

Violas are loved

4) Nijimura's dad was treated like dirt and Nijimura (Shuzo) legit invited Himuro's parents just to rub it in their faces "LOOK AT ME NOWWWW"

Remarks: Kind of crack, to be honest, but witty akkr counts as fluff, right? XD

Summary: Due to an influential stalker, Kuroko has been trying to get a steady job for more than a year. In an attempt to help, Aida assigns him as the baby sitter of the adopted kids of her boss. Not knowing who the boss was, he took the job. If only he knew what exactly he was getting himself into.

Remarks: I’ve found from recent interactions that some knb fans don’t read from ffnet. It has some pretty good fics there too, all of which will never be updated probably Christmas is coming pls god 

5) The One Time Kise is the Big Buff Hero by missherlocked

Summary:  Kise is Hogwarts’ champion for Triwizard Tournament.

Remarks: Warning! If you don’t like KiKuro, don’t read. This fic has both kikuro and akakuro though. DURMSTRANG!AKASHI IN A WELL-WRITTEN FIC. I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL. 

EDIT: OH MY GOD WTF, #5’s AKASHI IS A CREEP WHAT WAS I THINKING. Still a good fic tho, but akashi is not as fluffy as I remember. I was a kid when I last read this.

Anyway, hope you liked these recs! This took more than an hour to assemble because I realized I keep making the same recs over and over. XDD

Brief for New Blog

This blog is recommended for: 

1) People who are looking for good fics/want to add a fic rec blog to their list of followed blogs, as that is the main purpose of this blog. The main reason why it’s AkaKuro on the title is because I’m more knowledgeable about AkaKuro fics than with other pairings. It’s safe to ask me about:

Of course, I’ll still try to look for fics of other pairings not in my ‘safe-list’, so long as you ask! (Except for my NOTPs. I’m getting to that later.)

2) People who are searching for a headcanons blog that does not largely involve s/o headcanons. It’s okay to like what you like! But I wanted a haven for people who weren’t comfortable with that.

If someone tells you that you can’t like what you like and says that you should be ashamed of yourself:

They’re not worth your time. Seriously.

What I don’t like (because we’re at that point already):

I’m human too xD

1) AkaFuri.

2) OC fics.

3) Reader fics.

1) to suit your daily fanfic needs for Kuroko no Basuke. You never know what you might find when you ask us (although there’s only one of me, really) ;) 

2) to satiate the thirst for headcanons on the basukeboys (and girls). There are numerous blogs like this, and they’re a great deal of fun. I hope you have fun here too! :D
