Have you ever been asked to analyze a person's pattern of behaviors because people counted on your peculiar judgement? Is this something you would be interested in to earn money from doing? Do you have any background in human psychology? If you were given loads of online conversations, posts someone makes in public, to form an opinion from, do you think you could figure them out? You have low empathy but would you do it for money - a consulting service of sorts?

Yeah, I’ve been asked before. Usually by friends, occasionally family. As for money? Nah, keep it. I do this sort of thing as hobby. And you've piqued my interest.

I don’t have any formal background in psychology. No degree, no licenses. What I do have is experience, observation, and years of doing my own research because people interest me more than they probably should.

Could I “figure someone out” from conversations, posts, habits, contradictions? Maybe. Depends on how much there is to work with. To make it clear, I'm not interested in armchair diagnoses. Labels are cheap. Patterns aren’t. And yes, I do enjoy analyzing behavior. Even more when the person doesn’t realize they’re being read.

Posts often talk about victims of rape having to live with the physical and mental scars/obvious proof of struggle afterwards, but what about the rapist? Obsession with someone you’ve never spoken to usually says more about projection than connection. You’re not obsessed with me. You’re obsessed with the idea of "me," or a handful of posts, and whatever your brain filled in between the gaps.

Friendship with me is hardly something to romanticize, anon. I would probably grow bored of you within a few hours, or my responses would be so dry that you would grow bored. It's either we click, or we don't. Sometimes consistency, time, and patience helps. That is a rarity.

I am good at pinpointing intent. If someone is bringing the idea of "obsession," "fawning," or wanting something they can't touch into a conversation, I can tell. Sometimes I might watch for minute, see what version of myself they built in their own head, other times I'll just ghost automatically. If I am told outright, I am not flattered or impressed.

I don't care if someone gives me a try. However, judging by your ask, we definitely would not get along. Save your breath.

If you are asking me, the answer is no. I don't think it's wrong to lean further into paraphilia, explore them deeper, or stop censoring the part of you that feels shame, guilt, or "bad" about it. Feeling that way is pointless.

On the other side of it, I also don't think it's bad to give into impulses or become more careless. This is simply what I think. Other people may tell you different. Do whatever you want. Get worse, get "better," it doesn't really concern me.
