hello hello. i'm very new to posting. i'm usually a lurker, but deltarune chapter 3+4 changed my life's trajectory and now i'm here. also on twt but i dont know how to work it. simply posting for the love of the game.

i think i like the roaring knight but tbh im not sure. Thats sarcasm i need the knight spiritually. anyways while i do love cutscene knight i love literally every main deltarune character Kris susie noelle those are the big three. ralseis my buddy too

i'm also very new to drawing (consistently). i do not draw regularly, my last rendered drawing was about half a year ago at the time of writing this post. if there's art style changes, that's expected! i like to draw in various styles, both as exploration and it's just fun.

alas, i wasn't able to finish my doc in time. that's alright, ill be updating the information with chapter 5 most likely.

some of them i don't really believe in (like kris' hand getting cut off in chapter 5. i think it's chapter 6/7 AT LEAST)

and some are implied not to be true... in the thank you survey, the unusual "bad news" regarding noelle in a dark world seems to lead that noelle won't be in a dark world... in weird route at least!

and on my mini-theory for weird route: what spamton was talking about, [HYPERLINK BLOCKED], was likely "LOVE". and we know that there's been a lot of red dot imagery with noelle. almost like the soul... is almost within her.

this, i believe, is the only blog post that feels incredibly separated from the base game. all of noelle's posts is connected to something in the game, one of them being connected to one of the puzzles in the MANTLE games.

this is the only one that doesn't have a connection/parallel drawn yet.

i wanted to put it out here, in case chapter 5 really is the end of weird route... after all, the game freezing after noelle takes the soul isn't too much of an ending.

overall, it feels like i'm just a bit more excited for chapter 5 weird route than regular... it could be the end. or not. who knows!!

haven't been on here since a while. i thank everyone who's interacted with my posts so far, especially on that kris&dess artwork! there was quite a few people who reblogged it, some who i even look up to... it's feels quite nice to post.

deltarune chapter 5 is coming on june 24th, 15 days from now. i've been.... procrastinating on a theory doc on deltarune. i think i might have to skin it down, just so i can post it before chapter 5 releases. that's alright. i'll likely do a revised version, with the information from chapter 5.

small deltarune analysis/theory: spectrum of light/dark and reality/fiction

this is probably why gaster invited us players to his DEVICE (or why someone redirected us to kris's soul): because we're the only ones with powerful LIGHT to seal fountains.

in addition to this, there seems to be another spectrum: ABOVE and BELOW.

in undertale, humans live ON THE SURFACE, while monsters live UNDERGROUND. in deltarune, lightners live on the surface, while darkners live beneath it. (also it naturally makes sense because light is ABOVE (sun) and darkness is BELOW (shadows created below)) when going to castle town in the school, we literally JUMP DOWN into it.

we, as the ANGEL high up, look down on the game in a top-down view. gaster, the man with demonic associations (666), is hidden deep, DOWN in the code.

also, a lot of darker (literally and figuratively) things are found BELOW. alphys's true lab and the shelter (specifically in SWORD route).

something something darkness is shrouded in mystery and we are the only ones who can shed LIGHT on them. har har.

i do have (somewhat) backing for dess "preferring" halloween over christmas ERAM (the pixel boss) is tied to dess, holding the shadow mantle to beat her yknow ERAM is a BAT with FIRE attacks, which just feels very halloween, not to mention how dess likes scary stuff with how she watches horror movies with noelle

(also tangentially related, "raise up your bat", that song you play in the rhythm section and is obviously tied to dess.

anyways, i made this observation before i played chapter 4 and lo and behold, this guy appeared

and also my friend made a WAY better joke than me which was evil dess being named october. im not sure how i didnt think of that myself (my original joke was that dess left and went missing because she doesnt want to do christmas anymore)
