(multi) Mother’s home.
Mab hummed to herself softly as she finished off the rest of her human looks and wards to avoid being detected as a fey, at long last she finally had all the ingredients together to brew a potion for a portal, for a banished fey like her it was hard to gather the potion ingredients needed.
After the last time that she had tried to overthrow Titania and Oberon she had been banished to the outskirts of the realm, a dark place with knarled, thorny vines growing wildly and blocking out most sun light.
only the darkest of fey beasts and the mosed cursed of the fey themselves lived here and Mab had grown quite fond of her new realm. She’d made herself a dark castle out of rubble and ruin that she’d found around, broken down bits of the homes of the ancients who once inhabited this part of the realm long before Oberon or Titania, longer than any humans anyway. Mab had done everything she could to raise a good strong home so she could finally go and get her children! Mab glanced at the photograph on her vanity of her and her family, Harper was so young and Ben was barely still a babe himself, their father smiling brightly at them and she kissed a finger pressing it to the photograph
“You can’t keep me from them forever, can you love?” Mab asked with a wicked grin across her face before she strolled out fathering her things as she went into what would someday be a beautiful garden, it was getting closer as her powers were growing, black roses were currently the only things that would grow from these viscious vines that surrounded her home but soon her portal opened before her and she saw the quiet forest surrounding seacoast that she had loved to explore so long ago. she stepped from teh portal and frowned seeing that Shakespeare’s home was still darkening these woods as well as a new one, no matter. even if they detected the portal (Which judging by the shouting from the cottage they definitely had) they would never connect it to her.
Mab headed out humming softly still to herself a haunting melody that had it not been for the wards she was forced to place on herself weakening most of her other abilities would have enchanted those around her who were weak minded.
Walking the streets of the city it was as if she had never left, she remembered the way there as if she’d walked this way every day of her life. She found the apartment and the listing that still had their family name on it and a loving smile crossed her features as she rang the bell no longer having a key for the front door.
Harper had just woken up from her ‘in between shifts’ nap and checked the doorbell cam and practically choked on water seeing just who stood at the door, her blood running absolutely cold as she immediately grabbed her phone and called Max
“Max you need to send someone to my apartment, Now.”
Adrienne had been happy tot see Jane until she could sense the energy coming off of her, something was definitely wrong and then she heard what Jane had to say and sighed.
“Asshole can’t stay out of trouble can he?” she asked shaking her head before she grabbed the keys to her shop and was already dialing aziraphale to come take over for her.
“Are we inviting Kit along as well?”
“Someone has to help in taking care of the twins, if we need back up we can always call him.” She looked at her, “thank you Adrienne. When this is over you name the spa. My treat.”
Adrienne laughed a little and shook her head
“thanks but I don’t do spas, to much on my plate as it is” Adrienne told her when aziraphale came she handed him the keys and told him to lock up when he was done before she hugged her friend and went off with Jane to save Mr. Shakespeare
“I guess the bright side is that it’s not Drake”
Jane of course hugged Aziraphale, “please pray for us.” She asked then hurried off with Adrienne. “I suppose on that it is better. But you should have seen the twins this morning. I have never seen such broken tiny hearts.”

The twins came into Rohan’s office and hugged him immediately, “Rohan that evil Mab lady kidnapped Ben and Papa! Mim went with Aunt Adrienne to go save them!”
Aziraphale smiled
“bring him home, we’ll keep an eye on the twins and the garden” aziraphale promised her before letting them go he couldn’t help but look up at the sky and let out a big sigh
“do return them to us won’t you?”

Rohan had been trying to put a few rooms in the base together to be the ultimate fun house experience to keep the twins entertained, something to make them laugh and forget their troubles instead of …well this.
“I know, if mama isn’t back by tomorrow I’ll be going after them as well and we’ve asked Godwin to come and tell us what he knows of the feywilds with Shiro” Rohan assured them as he sat on he floor to be more their level to chat like grown ups
“you know if never let anything happen to your mim and papa right?” Rohan asked them smiling
The twins hugged him tighter, “why does everyone else get to go off and save Papa? We should save him too! Papa needs us!” The worst of all was the fact that they were right.

Puck hurried through the portal and crashed landed right down onto Jane’s hood of her car.
Jane screamed then seeing Puck she looked at Adrienne, “excuse me a moment!” She got out and went to Puck. “What are you doing!”
“It’s Will! Mab’s got him! He’s all different not himself but himself a weird version! She has him thinking he’s the Fae King!” He spoke hurriedly.
Jane looked sick. “Of course nothing can ever be sane with all of this. Does Oberyn and Titania know?”
“No,” Puck said.
“Then they should.” Jane looked at him, “can you get us to the Feywild?”
Puck looked between Adrienne and Jane. “I uh yeah, sure yes! For Will anything! And to protect the twins and Aurelia in the process.”
Adrienne looked at him and raised a brow
“been a long time since I’ve seen you” she said rolling her eyes she wondered if puck would know it was her after all her face had changed a few times since their last interaction.
“will said pick was their guardian I thought he was joking” Adrienne admitted
Puck waved at Adrienne, “hi!” He didn’t recognize her but was friendly all the same if she said she knew him who was he to turn down a friend? “I am their fairy Godfather.” Puck said proudly. “They are teaching me to read.”
Jane chuckled remembering how the other day Kitty had out the Green Eggs & Ham book. She and Puck were both learning so it was good to see them trying so hard. When Fitz had joined them he added in One Fish, Two Fish.

The twins sat looking at Rohan. “Do you think Papa is ok?” Kitty asked.
Fitz sat close to his sister and looked at her. “I think Mab has him in a tower.”
Kitty suddenly giggled. “He’s Rapunzel!”
Rohan laughed
“afraid so, maybe more like sleeping beauty since he’s been captured by the fey” Rohan said to them as he thought of maleficent
“pricked his finger on a spindle and waiting your mother’s kiss to wake him and the rest of our sad little kingdom” Rohan said before remembering
“let’s not dwell to much I’ve got a surprise for you two” Rohan said before he headed out if the room motioning for then to follow

Adrienne nodded
“brave kids, will tries that once and I think his hair got a little grayer” Adrienne said before getting back to business
“where are we going puck?”
“A pursprise?” Fitz asked.
Kitty giggled and took her Brother’s hand as they hurried off after Rohan giggling.

“Ahhh,” Puck looked around, “sorry it’s… that, no that, noooo… this way! This way!” He started running.
“Puck get in the car we can drive there.”
“Oh!” Puck stopped coming back to get in the car.
Rohan brought them into the next room showing them the surprise he had been setting up for the moment he knew Jane was going after will, he’d easily converted the common room into a giant fun house worthy of chuck e cheese and all those other child havens except knowing his knights he made the jungle gyms and slide big enough for hem to play on as well and the tokens were free for the video games
“sorry it’s all I could throw together in such little time” Rohan apologize

Adrienne got in the car again sitting in the back so puck could try to direct them, this was going to be a long day it was also then she noted the blanket suspiciously placed and frowned kicking it hearing w loud
“ow!”
“Harper” Adrienne said rolling her eyes as harper squeezed herself out of her hiding place on. The floor and huffed
“you weren’t going to let me come otherwise and I’m not abandoning them
Their eyes grew big and they ran around chattering and giggling. “This place is amazing!”

“Well if we let her then we will know where she is and that she is safe.” Jane said. “We aren’t stopping her. I wouldn’t want anyone stopping me from saving Will.”
“but she’s a kid,” Adrienne protested “a mortal child, you and I are different we’ve lived a hundred lives she doesn’t have hat option” Adrienne protested as harper sat more properly in the seat and buckled listening more to her foster mom than the angel anyways
“if I were Juliet this would be different” Harper said Adrienne scoffed.
“only in he idea hat I’d have Michael, Raphael and Uriel backing me up”

Rohan smiled and went to the token machine hitting a button and watching the shiny gold tokens plop out
“where should we start then?” He asked grinning at them proud of his perfect distraction
Jane looked at Adrienne in the mirror, “we can’t stop her but we can keep an eye on her this way. I would rather know my “daughter” is safe than find her later in the Feywild hurt or worse. She will find a way, she and Ben are very much like that as Will and I have learned since the apocalypse.”

“The demon bopper!” It was like whack-a-mole but demons.
Kitty and Fitz had taken both boppers and stood ready.
Adrienne nodded a little bit conceding to Jane’s concerns as she leaned back in her seat pouting a little though

Rohan lead them over and handed them the tokens for the game chuckling
Jane followed the directions as Puck pointed them out. The drive taking them back to where the Shakespeare household was. “Alright lets get to the portal get Will and Ben. Then come home.”

The twins put the tokens in and once the characters came up they bopped them, giggling distracted by all the lights colors and sounds.
“are we sure this is the right way?” Harper asked quirking a brow wouldn’t they have noticed a portal to the fey wilds in their backyard?

Rohan laughed as he watched them glad that they were so wonderfully distracted he wondered if they’d be disappointed if he went to get will as well, after all who knew how long it would take to find him?
“Well it’s not so much a portal as it is a planar circle.” Puck said sounding rather smart than usual.

Kitty and Fitz finished and looked up at Rohan. “Your turn!” They held up the mallets.
Rohan chuckled and took the mallet and out a token in before he started hitting at the pieces as they popped up he didn’t want to leave the twins but he certainly couldn’t take them with him and he certainly couldn’t abandon will either he was honestly surprised half the city wasn’t storming the fey wilds for him right now

Adrienne shrugged
“surely even puck knows how to get back home should he need too” Adrienne said before she looked back at puck
“….you do right?”
Kitty and Fitz cheered him on, clapping and giggling.
Kaleb came in, “so it is true you rented out the arcade and had it all hauled here. Oh hey!”
“Kaleb!”

Puck gave a hurtful face, “of course, all fey have an innate sense of direction back to the Feywild. It is our home.”
Adrienne nodded a little
“I had to be sure I mean the angels cant get back to Eden so I had to double check you know?” Adrienne asked him apologetically as she patted him on the shoulder before she followed after him again
“I haven’t been to the fey wilds in centuries has anything changed?”

Rohan smiled
“the twins needed happiness and the knights deserve a little time to act childish and blow off steam in a healthy way” Rohan said to him as he whacked he last creatures and a bell went off
“I made sure everything was grown up sized as well so you can enjoy as much as they do
“Simultaneously yes, and yet a deep and resounding no.” Puck told her. “Things change but so much stays as it always has.” He came upon a circle, “follow me.” With that he stepped into a circle of mushrooms and was gone.

“Yay!” Kaleb smiled, “need me to take over for a moment so you can check up on things?”
The twins were now trying to get things out of the claw machine.
The other two stopped and gave a moment of pause before Adrienne simply stepped in next to ensure it was safe for the other two being transported to the beautiful fey wilds and she took a deep breath of the sweet scented air
“I forgot how beautiful this place is”

Rohan hesitated
“…yes if you wouldn’t mind,” Rohan said before he turned to the twins
“my darling little friends I need to go check on something Kaleb is in charge until I return and if not him then max” Rohan apologize to them as he pressed a kiss to both their heads
“I’ll be back by bedtime at the latest”
“Non fey typically do.” Puck said. “Though Will doesn’t it seems he remembers it all. When he is himself.”
Jane hopped in knowing Harper would follow after.

Kitty and Fitz held up their pinkies, “pinky swear!”
“Careful that is a fey contract!” Kaleb warned.
“they’re not fey” Rohan assured him rolling his eyes before he turned to the twins and crossed his pinky with theirs
“I promise I’ll come back as soon as I can and with any luck your papa will be with me ok?” Rohan asked them smiling
“your mama is very capable of bringing him home bit she has a lot of ground to cover and I want to help bring him home as fats as possible”

Harper was right behind them, her bat hanging over her shoulders as she looked around them at first amazed before remembering that this is the fucked up worked that held her brother hostage and she had to hurry up and find him
“where first?”
“Ok we love you Rohan! Come home safe!” They said.
“Tell Mim and Papa we love them!” Kitty called.
“And make good choices!” Fitz called too.
Kaleb shook his head and messaged Shiro and Max to come down. Three knights versus three vampire kiddies what was the worst that could happen?

“First we need to check in with Titania and Oberyn, then we can go search for Ben and Will.” Puck said without leaving any room for argument. “These are not your lands nor your worlds and if you want protection from the things that are not so savory that live here you need to speak with them!”
