I'm writing this to help those in any fandom. But, mostly for the Voltron fandom as we have many cyber bullies. So here's a way I can help you.
First thing is first.
If you have a trigger. You need to study it and learn it. I have triggers myself that can leave me completely... well. It's not good. But, I learned it and started to figure out what causes it. You have to realize, no one is going toĀ hold your hand. You can shout to others, which causes them to abuse others and soon a hateful cycle starts.
You have to realize, that you are responsible for yourself when it comes to the internet. You need to know if your level of maturity to see if you can react appropriately.Ā Ā And consciousness on your triggers in order to know what triggers them. It's honestly like growing up. When you're out there many won't care if certain things trigger you. That is the hard truth. Many will not care and those who do will help you in a good way.
But, if you go to those for help who are abusive. Then they use you as an excuse to spread their bullying. Which can cause others to be triggered as they actively go out to trigger them. You do not want this. Which is why I'm going to helpĀ you.

First steps. Blacklist, Unfollow, Block. Or BUB!

Many of you in this fandom may bot know. But there are extensions you can download that can really help you. Blacklisting is taking a tag and completely blocking it from your site! So say if you don't like looking at wet bread. You type it in as many ways you can think. And it blocks every single one of them!
If you have an artist that starts displaying content you're not too comfortable about. Yet still like the artist, then black list the tag. And hey, you can ask if they can make a tag for that in order to black list. Just be nice about, explain your situation and majority of artist will help out.
But if you really don't like it unfollow the artist. Do not continue to follow if you continue feeling bad. If you REALLY can't stand it. Blocking keeps whatever they post away from your vision!
There is no shame in using BUB! I use BUB constantly and tumblr hasn't given me much problems because of it.
IMPORTANT THOUGH! If an artist makes something you don't like. You do not have the right to tell them what they can and cannot draw. Artists are free to make their art, stories or crafts. You do NOT own them. Respect that people are different from you and like different things. Artists are their own people and are allowed to do what they want. If you want certain content, then pay commissions and do so. Again just because their your favorite does not give you the right to think you can control them.
Also, IF YOU ARE REALLY TRIGGER! STEP AWAY FROM THE INTERNET!
Staying on the internet will lead to more triggers. Step away for a few hours or hell a day or so. Do not torture yourself and continue. You have to know that if you continue reading something your uncomfortable with. You need to learn to back out. You do not have the right to yell at an artists or author, who placed warnings and tag correctly, you're hate.
You need to not click. And if you do and it makes you uncomfy back out.
Remember, some can be accommodating. But you need to be mature and conscious when on the internet. Triggers are hard and even I get deep into it. But, I know what I need to do in order to stop and stay mentally healthy asĀ I can be!
Remember, even if you don't agree with my ships. I'll respect that. And I'll respect you dislike and likes. But you need to respect and know people have different likings. Initiating in cyber bully behavior is abusive and just makes you a bad guy.
I really hope you are not. I hope you rise above this. Because I do care even if you in turn hate me. I do want to keep you all safe.
Ship wars are insignificant. All they do is hurt people and cause strife. Be above this and not participate ship wars. Don't ignite ships wars or contribute to ship wars.
Instead, talk to those who like the same ship as you. Enjoy your time and not be apart of bully behavior. Please be above this for all it's doing is making more and more dislike people.
I know many of you are good people. So please be above this. If you see someone trying to spout a ship war. Turn your head away and ignore them. Don't fight with them or join them.
If you do not like a ship or don't ship at all. There are ways you don'tĀ have to see it! Unfollow, Block or Black List.Ā And most of all enjoy time with those who do like it or, to those who don't ship, enjoy a convo about aus!

Remember, you're all important. I do not wish to see you lower yourself to such an act as participating in a ship war. For it covers you in an image that you will be horrified with.
I want everyone to remember that you can only fit so much in a season. That in order to progress with a story, you need to focus on certain parts before heading into a next part. And with every show certain seasons you will like and certain season you won't like.
And, when someone says you might see something doesn't mean it's going to be in the season that comes out. It could be next season or the season after that. Sometimes these take times especially shows that only have 11 to 13 episodes each season.
Also, a gentle remind to please stay respectful towards each other. Some people liked the second season. Some people disliked the second season and some people was middle ground.
Just because a show had something that wasn't to your liking means it's a bad show. It could just mean it needed to progress in a part of a story. Some stories has to let a few things go into the back for a bit before bringing them to the front. It's what every author does for their books, shows, movies and comics.
So I plead that you all please be kind and courteous towards one another. And towards the show that we like. Yes, it could be a season you really dislike. But like I said, every show has one. And again you can only fit soĀ much with 30min episodes. Especially again, when seasons are only 11 to 13 episodes. <3 <3
We'll all make it through this and we should be excited for the third season! We have more questions that we wanted answered and more things we have yet to see. It's exciting to know that the story is progressing! There is now more potential for season 3 and beyond.
So please, be patient. Be kind. Be courteous. And Be Mature about this.
Again, just because a show isn't going your way doesn't mean it's a bad show. Like reading a book you don't just put it down in the beginning or middle. You should read towards the end to get the full story! And then you can place your thoughts on it! 8D
If you do not like a particular tag. There is actually a way you can black list it. Black listing is a term in which you can take a tag. Like, say we don't like seeing pancakes. You can write in pancakes and it will block you from seeing the tag!
There is a measure to take when you're on the internet. No one is here toĀ hold your hand. So you need to shield yourself as others won't do it for you. But, that doesn't mean we can't send the messenger birds out!
This widget works on safari, chrome and even fire fox! It can also be used onĀ your phone! Though it's called something else on the phone!
There is also blocking! Block is where, if there is a blog that make you uncomfortable, you can block the user. Making it so that way you don't see any of their posts. They also can't message you too. This is to the point where you really dislike the user.
I personally use all these in order to filter the hate. And I have to say it works wonderfully! I am able to enjoy scrolling without having to see certain things. I suffer from PTSD and certain things will trigger me. So this helps me very much.

I know many of you probably find this annoying as I make many of these. But, it really is valuable information. It helps keep you all from looking at things you don't like. But you have to realize at the same time, there are things you're going to see that you don't want. You have to realize that joining a site like tumblr or any other media site. Is never really work safe. You make it safe.
And I know many of you will ignore me because I do ship Shance and shklance. But, I respect that others do not. And I respect that others really dislike it and I also respect those who don't ship at all. That being said. Please be considerate to others. Blocking blogs are not good and is a form of cyber bullying and abuse. This blog in particular is in a way being very cruel and also putting up a face of being nice.
They insult the blogs they post. And slander them and try to make sure they use words that can hurt. That is not how you do things. That just spreads hate and makes the fandom more unstable.
So I ask from my followers and to everyone else. Just please ignore this blog. Block them and black list the tags.
IN TAGGING: I please ask everyone to be kind and tag accordingly. So that way people are able to black list easily. And please, I know cyber bullies are cruel and abusive. You want to react, I know.. But that isn't a good way to do this.
Reacting means you'll become the thing just like them. So I ask you please, just block and black list. And do not instigate fights.
If you know someone is an cyber bully(anti) then please just. block them or black list if it make you upset. Do not engage.
Sadly this website is filled with cyber bullies and it's something we can't stop. What we can do is a bit of clean up and some respect. I ask you all to please do not become this.
Making blocking blogs and attacking blogs is wrong. That is cyber bullying and I ask you to please don't become that painful and horrible being.
I also ask, that maybe everyone can post the tutorials on how to block and black list. As many still do not know how to do that. That way more can be informed.
