Fanfic idea:

Dany is kidnapped and smuggled back into Westeros a few months into her marriage with drogo and instead of being executed, is bethrothed to Joffrey. Ned convinces Robert to let her foster at winterfell until Joffrey turns 14 and the king relents. Jon is initially distrustful of lord stark’s newest ward, but as the years pass, they develop a close friendship they have to keep hidden for propriety. It wouldn’t do so have a bastard lingering too close to the crown prince’s betrothed, after all. Once it’s time for her to return to kings landing, he volunteers to accompany her as her personal guard. On the eve of the wedding, he helps her find the petrified dragon eggs they seized from her and they elope somewhere Robert’s men can never find them.
